I looked for Sekhmet all over Fyhi, as far as I could go without being stopped anyway, but I wasn't able to gather any news of her. I suppose if she did join that herd, she'll be deep in the territory, too deep for me to find her. I suppose in a way, I give up. I'm going to keep looking for her wherever I go, but I have a life to lead as well. If I keep worrying and worrying as much as I have been, I'll get old before my time. I think I'll head on to Quirne now, I haven't been there in a long while and it's lovely this time of year... well it's vicious actually, but it's impressive too so that's fine by me, I'm sensible enough to keep out of trouble.
Who knows, maybe I'll even be lucky enough to run into that wayward sister of mine. I strongly doubt I will, but it's worth keeping hopeful.

Poor guy. Losing your mate and your daughter all at once... I can’t imagine it. He was horrifying to look at - those bones! - but who am I to judge him for that, or the fact that his mate is a Bae. Was a Bae. She’s dead, or so we must assume. She and their daughter must have been killed in the storm that injured Lucius. I feel for him, I do but... Well when he told me to go I was only too glad. It was just depressing, looking for people who I was sure were dead day in day out, and with him so silent... I’m heading home I think. After that incident, I need to see my family, to assure myself they’re all okay.
Strangely, even seeing someone who’s just lost their mate feeling so miserable I found myself wondering about a mate of my own as we searched together. I mean, I’m not a lot to look at but I have plenty of other things to offer. I’d just never thought about it before I guess but now... I’d like to find someone. I’d like to have a partner in life, someone to share my days with, maybe have some foals... I don’t know. I guess all I can do is start keeping my eyes open rather than spending all my time running around trying to help people. Yea. That’s what I should do; find someone who also wants to do good in the world and team up with them. That’d be nice.
