Twilight Meetings
Ah was busy grazin' in the valley when ah came across a cute li'l paintaloosa filly an' her friend Scabbers. We talked of magic an' things, an' then we played one or two games, those were fun. Firs' we jus' ran round, then we played tag. She seemed a bit odd at that; makes me think someone abandoned her after suggesting they play tag. Such an awful thing t' do, especi'ly t' such a cute li'l filly. But we had fun all th' same, an' she was full t' bursting with energy. Ah figured Scabbers would like it if she went an' fell asleep fer th' night, so ah offered t' tell a story. She hadn't heard one before, ever! That was hard to believe. Ah well, ah fixed that right away by tellin' her th' story ah heard when ah was a bit younger, the Sand Nequus, an' she fell asleep straight away after that. Such a cute filly she is.

Midnight Snacks
Ah was havin' a late night snack; apples, a'course. Stinks bein' s'short, but at least ah got my daddy's strength, so it was easy t' kick the tree an' get some good apples. Ah was eatin' one when ah saw a lovely li'l filly; all red an' gold, but with Jala wings an' Reya horn an' tails. Still, she looked nice an' pretty enough, an' ah love foals, cute li'l thin's. Ah didn't see anybody else 'round, so ah invited her t' come share my apples. She was right delighted an' came right over. Smart as a whip, that'n; she rolled each apple she was gonna eat all over an' inspected it t' make sure it was good enough t' eat. 'Course, ah dun do that an' ah s'pose ah should, but oh well. Ah haven't found too many bad apples quite yet, so ah s'pose ah'll live. We talked about things, mainly fruit, an' she mentioned a friend'a hers, Annabelle, an' ah said to tell Anna what a nice name she had. Salome -- that's the red an' gold cross-breed's name -- was right pleased an' agreed to tell her friend. Although Salome acted a mite strange she was still cute as anything, an' ah ended up tellin' her a bedtime story. The Sand Nequus, a'course. Ah need more stories... Anyhow, she an' ah fell asleep soon after that. She's such a sweetheart.
