Yup, by the looks of it, I didn't get in the meet and greet, which sucks. I still haven't met each bandmember in person yet... Only Mike.
However, I will be running the Music For Relief booth there with a friend. She had asked me yesterday, and I decided to help. I have to be at the venue at 10am, which is more than 2 hours earlier than the doors actually open. I'm gonna be at the booth until 5, basically the whole 2nd stage time. I think the booth is near the 2nd stage, no big deal.
Other reasons why I chose to help. The booth is a tent... Tent = shade. I may even have a chair, fans, free s**t, who knows. Perhaps the band members will come to us to thank us for helping out. Afterall, MFR was founded by the band.
We'll be surrounded by technology, and some energy drink bus. Maybe free drinks? Haha.
Best reason though. I'll have energy for the pit for when LP is on. I'll have the energy to push my way to the front. twisted
It'll be fun trying to get there at 10am though. I'll need to go through the EX, an annual carnival that is in town for 2 weeks or something, their gates aren't open until 10am. It takes like 10 minutes to get from those gates to the venue. Maybe I can convince them to let me through. They have to let me through because of the concert ticket, same with Ontario Place, where the venue is located. I hope I remember how to get there, rofl.
I'm thinking that with travel time, I'll be gone for 15 hours. Think I'll be sleeping much for the next while?

Ignoring such an awesome thread?
Just got home from Pro Rev... Holy ********, I was just there for LP, the other bands I did see were fine... MCR, bleh, I couldn't care less really. If they did something that would make me care, sure, but I haven't seen it yet.
Anyways, I got there at 10am, worked at the MFR booth during the Revolution stage. Only thing that sucked about it was that Mike had joined SOB for Second To None. I did hear it though, so it's all good.
Anyways, I get into the pit sometime before Placebo played. Good band, weird voice, rofl. HIM was alright, Taking Back Sunday too. Only thing I didn't like, and it what I don't like about many bands live, is that there was no actual levels in the music... Maybe once or twice, but for the most part, all the instruments were cranked at full blast. The lead singer of HIM kept smoking too. Good job, you aren't supposed to smoke in the venue, out in the lawn, sure... On stage, nay. You can tell that he was doing it as part of his stage act. Taking Back Sunday's lead singer liked swinging his mic around a lot. Would have been awesome if he ******** up. rofl
MCR - Although there are a lot of fans there who love MCR, jumping around and such... I didn't. The only time I even yelled was when he mentioned LP and a few other bands. I was next to the barricade, behind this mom and two wannabe punkkids... They kept on saving eachothers spot to go smoke, I should have just pushed them out of the way TBH. Oh, you put some gel and random blonde in your hair, and got some face piercings [which looked pretty fake to me]... Oh, and you smoke, pot even? You're so badass. Your cougar mom too. Ha! And TBS were talking about how they went to see Justin Timberlake [I found out today that Good Charlotte opened for him... Yea... Anyways] last night. This cougar and punkkids were talking about having gone to that show. God, if LP weren't in the building, I would have killed myself then and there.
Anyways... MCR... Yea, whenever Gerard... Whatever his name is... I'll call him skull since he had that painted on his face. Matched his guitarist's shirt. Whoopee! So yea, whenever Skull came by, I'd just stand there, when I did look at him, I had this scowl on my face. I was kinda challenging him to call me out and freak out at me. rofl
Ah, and here's part of the reason why I don't respect that band. At one point, he asked why the girls were louder than the guys. He asked if it was because he was... Er, I'm not sure what he said, but I think it was either "Scary", or "Sexy". Or was is because he was wearing pink underwear... Yea, just strengthing my resolve. I hate you because all your fans [at least most of them] only like you because of you, not because of your music. You may aswell be Britney Spears! Really, ******** off! You're creating teenie boppers... You're making me want to kill people. ******** the hell off!
Now that I have that out of the way...
[LINKIN PARK]
Although I don't feel it completely, I may have lost my voice. Which is totally fine with me. My knees are locked into place from hopping around so much. My arms... Only hurt when I raise them... Surprisengly. I had them up the entire show.
Brad, Mike, Chester and Phoenix, being in the front, they all walked by where I was. For some reason I'm always stage left. At least I think it's stage left. The side that Rob's on, which, if you're facing the stage, he'd be on the right. Anyways, they all saw how crazy I was, finally I get to be at one of their shows in the pit, it was totally awesome. It was too bad they didn't get the chance to come down to the barricades after the show. They usually do, but they were delayed, so chances are, they had to leave to fly to the next show which is tomorrow.
At the end, I was so close to getting one of Rob's drum sticks. And just before he came by, Phoenix was there. I totally called him over, he actually looked straight at me and threw his last pic to me, however the wind caught it and I just missed it. >_<
Haha, as Chester was walking off the stage, Mike grabbed a towel, and rubbed it on his back collecting sweat and threw it in the pit, near the center though. I'm actually suprised Chester took off his top, it was sorta cool out, but I'm not complaining. His tattoos are ******** ownage.
Ah, another thing, sometime near the end of Breaking The Habit, I noticed the drum tech was by the kit, he had a symbol in his hand. Rob broke his kit. XD I'm not sure which one it was. It may have been that one with the peddle... High hat? However, I think it was the one right next to it.
They slowed down the tempo for Bleed It Out slightly, I think it was because ever since that show where Rob did that drum solo out of no where, they are now incorperating it. Hehe, at the end of it, Brad started playing his guitar a bit, and after a few bars, Mike was like, Brad where are you? Then he shows up from the other side of the drum kit... "Oh there you are. I could hear you but couldn't see you. Then you just sneak up on me!" Hehehe. Not sure how Brad can actually sneak with that fro.
Like any LP show I've been too, honestly, you could let Chester and Mike mime, cause we sing along to everything! cool
As for merch. I bought my stuff early on. I didn't really want to, but waiting would just mean a longer line/less stuff.
I bought myself the artbook, the awesome zipper hoodie, and this sweet belt. It has this odd clamp, it's probably a normal design, what do I know about belts, this is my first ever. I don't wear jeans. The belt was a really good thing to buy though. The reason I didn't want to buy early on was because I was in the pit, the book could get wrecked. However, with the belt, I was able to tie the bag with the book to the belt whilst wearing it. Worked like a ******** charm.
I was thinking of buying a tour shirt after the show, never had the chance. Not a big deal. I mean, it does suck, since it is a tour shirt, but then again, I do have a lot of LP shirts. Meh. The important thing is that I got the hoodie. I have a FM one, but I got it signed, so I can't really wear it much. I don't want to kill the autographs.
Oo, awesome thing as we were leaving. This asian guy was fighting a security guard yelling out something about needing to find his friends. There was a 2nd security guard but she was like 4 feet tall. She was yelling out to people to help her partner take the guy down. Which they did. It's always fun to watch some drunk guy get pinned by a ton of people. domokun
Anyways, I'll end the story now. I hope my voice doesn't recover just yet... I hope it gets worse. Should be fun trying to work like that. xp
