Okay...I've used Manga Studio Demo (the demo of the cheapest version) and it's really pretty awesome. But I really don't know much about actually drawing manga. I've read a lot of manga, and my art is pretty good, but when it comes to backgrounds, toning, panels and all that detailing stuff, I'm really helpless...So... Anybody have any tips or places I can go for help? (Anyone else have this problem?!)

I draw Shoujo art, so I can get away with few backgrounds. razz But... I think that my web manga only had 16 pages and like, 6 backgrounds total, so... I wouldn't know.
What I do is use a thicker pen for th backgrounds I do draw so they look more... special.

i have the same problem. What i do is draw a rough floor plan of the place i'm gonna draw my characters in and try to keep my characters with a constent backround. Also looking at artist you admire can help. I think CLAMP is good to look to for everything (except body porportions blaugh ) Also, most any shonen can be all the help you need with speed lines and shojo with shading.
