So here’s my dilemma!
I want to make a KH Yaoi doujinshi, and I want to sell it. But my favorite pairing is Xemnas/Saix, which, is not the most popular pairing by any means. So, should I go against my faves and do a Riku/Sora or Axel/Roxas? Or should I put Xem/Sai in and some other more popular pairing? And, what sort of plot would doujinshi buyers be most interested in?
I need some suggestions =w= Any help would be appreciated!

DO XEMNAS/SAIX!!! I say that not because I like pairing, I mean I like it, but that's not why. BE TRUE TO YOURSELF, ALWAYS! If you tried to do an Akuroku or a Riku/Sora, it wouldn't be YOU! Readers can tell when you're being true to yourself and they LOVE that! Trust me, I know from personal experiance in the KH fandom. The people who would me if I did Akuroku are NOT the people I want support from. Such support would be empty.
And Xemnas/Saix is popular! There's just not a lot of it. But there's an audiance for it, believe me...

Do what you want.
If you want to make sales, though, start by doing what you want and insinuate the other couplings you mentioned. Then, make a couple doujin about those two.
That's the only thing I can think of right now; sorry. -.-

I think it best just to go with your own ideas first before experimenting with what others say. In the end it may turn out well.
