Yeah, I guess the songs in Japanese aren't terrible, because the music is decent, and the lyrics aren't trying to melt my heart.

I love how cheesy/bad the English versions are. I never really listened to the Japanese versions past like the theme. I love the German soundtrack too.

heart Japanese versions of most anything are usually better. Sadly, that's because once we try to bring something to America, suddenly it's all about. "How do we water this down? How do we make it acceptable to preschool kiddies who are shrouded to the outside world? How do we dummy it up so people with little to no intellect will still catch on to everything?" gotta love it when things come to America... heart
