MISSIONS Squad Captains. Here is a list of Missions for you to choose from. post here if you see a mission you want to do. And Ryanna will give you the mission specs, if I think you guys are quailified enough for it. Complete the mission, and fill out a report on how it's success went. If we are impressed, then some members may get ranking ups, and you may then choose from harder mission areas.
When in the process of doing a mission, please create a new Topic in the main forum, stating the mission name, and carry it out from there in your RP. (This is so it is more organized, and so we may watch over things better.

*Solo Missions are given upon request or if we think you need more training in tatics and whatnot.

The Cat Mission
Located: through the portal
Rescue a cat from a tree, and give it to the little old lady who owns it. The only complication is that the tree is slightly taller than the Empire State building. This mission is a classic at Mishap Mercenaries, because the cat climbs the tree every single day, and we're always the ones to get it down. This is a simple rookie mission, open to anyone and everyone.

Library Cleansing
Location: the Library
Slightly less well known than the cat mission, Library Cleansing is another classic of Mishap Mercenaries. Curious and curiouser creatures frequently escape the confines of the books contained in the Library. Occasionally, a particularly nasty one gets out. Then someone must go into the Library and dispose of it somehow, or seal the beast back up again. Complications are the "normal" hazards of the Library. This mission can be any difficulty, and is open to anyone and everyone.

Cleaning the House of the Trap Master
Location: Demannu
Exactly what it sounds like. One of the eccentric residents of Demannu likes to build traps in his own home. This is amusing to those who don't have to clean his house. That means almost everybody, because no one will take the job anymore (the last person who did is expected to recover fully). The job is simple: go in, pick up a few piles of junk, scrub the sinks, dust the bookshelves, and avoid suffering physical and psychological trauma along the way. This mission can be any difficulty, and is open to anyone and everyone.

Sysop Wanted
Location: MMHQ
The Mishap's internal computer network was run by Tech. Unfortunately, Tech is no longer with us, leaving the role of systems operator available. Anyone who wants the job can have it, but first they will have to untangle Tech's... unique... operating system and bypass any associated security protocols. To begin the task, find a computer in the base and attempt to gain administrator access. Obvious rewards are as follows.
1. Full control of all MMHQ computers,
2. Possible access to the simulation chamber, and
3. Increased social standing among the other mercenaries.

Just announce that you're doing it, and then go do it. Kinda like a big stack of mission papers marked 'Take One'. If there's any secret plot twists planned, there will be contact info in the mission description. (For example, Baltazaar's sysop mission says to PM him for details.)
