Once again the creamy-yellow hued male was wandering about the Pridelands. The two white stripes that ran from the tip of his nose to his back certainly were a constrast aside from the yellow but, on a hot afternoon and lurking within the grass, one wouldn't notice him all that much. In some ways, it was handy to have fur that could help blend the male well with his surroundings but, for now, he could care less about surprising any victims or getting the jump on anything or anyone.
For now Kweu'Chaka wanted to have fun!
From meandering about, the young adult had stumbled upon a rather strange, round object. It was a bit tough yet eas for his powerful jaws to cut through the flesh and a very unusual, sweet flavor. Many of the primates and even some of the game had found the strange fruit a sweet treat and so did Kweu.
He had managed to take two or three and had set them by the tree as, by accident, he had discovered that instead of eatting they were also a fun toy to kick and roll around. And after having dropped it and watch it roll away, the kid at heart suddenly pounced at it and began batting it around and chasing it with growls and deep rumbles.
To those around, it must seem like such a strange sight to see a rather large male pawing around at the unseen object and could easily mistake him for being heatstroke or simply crazy which Kweu was neither.
Today he was having some fun in the sun.

Murasame was wobbling about, trying to keep his head up, puff out his chest like daddy, and walk in a straight line, though every now and then he would stumble and flop onto his side with a thump, though he'd just push himself back up, and try, try again.
He was a determined little cub.
Seeing something rather bright yet pale, orange eyes fixed themselves upon the figure, and then he set his course, his tiny paws carrying him through the grass, then he saw something appear to roll on the ground, then paws swatting haphazardly.
Ducking down Murasame didn't say a word maybe he could practice that pouncing thing Ruffian tried to teach him.

The rather large male rumbled with glee as he unsheathed his claws and continued to bat at the fruit. His claws easily penetrated through the fruit and caused the sweet juice to soaks his claws and began to mutilate its appearance. Pinning his ears against his skull and giving the fruit another powerful swat, Kweu watched as the rolled swiftly and he lunged suddenly for the chase.
But as he began he abruptly stopped as an unfamiliar scent of another lion lingered within the air and caught him off guard. Slamming his paws hard onto the ground and skidding to a stop with a trail of dirt and dust looming into the air, Kweu'Chaka winced slightly as the rough terra hurt his paws while he intook a sharp breath.
Kweu glanced a few feet away towards a small form ducking low within the grass. It was a cub, a young male cub.
He tilted his head slightly as his tail swayed behind him with a flick. "Hey," he softly called out as he stepped forward. "What are you doin' all the way out here?"

Murasame's ears flattened against his head and a small squeak escaped his mouth as he scooted back a bit into the safety of the tall grass, but it was no use, this larger pale pelted male had seen him, should he make a run for it? No, it'd be useless, this male would be way too fast, and he'd be caught rather quickly.
Murasame hoped he wasn't mad at his spying on him.
"H-hi..." he said softly, not coming from his grassy place, orange eyes watched the larger male closely to see where he was moving, "Just..esplorin..."

The rather large, young adult knitted his brows curiously and lowered himself to his stomach- his brilliant, blue orbs curiously watching the small cub as he couldn't help but smile and chuckle softly to himself. "Hey little guy," he spoke softly, unable to keep from smiling. His ears flicked slightly as his tail swayed within the grass.
"You're just explorin'? Have you had any good adventures yet?"

Murasame peered up at the pale pelted lion before him with brilliant orange hues, flicking his ears and letting them swivel to the side he watch him for a minute before uttering any words, "Y-yea, I guess," his brain was twisting, what cool adventures could he tell him, what?
Oh!
"I learn howta pounce!" he said beaming, puffing his chest out with a silly grin to match. "My friend taught me."

Kweu'Chaka furrowed his brows and couldn't help but chuckle. His tail swayed behind him as his pure, cerulean orbs directed their attention towards the cub. The cub certainly was interesting- rather young but his sense of adventure was developing and seemed a lot like his own when he was that young.
And it was strange to think that once Kweu himself was that small!
"You learned how to pounce?" The young adult questioned as he tilted his head slightly. "Show me!"

Murasame puffed his chest out, stood and stretched his forelegs as if he was such an expert at pouncing. "Alright!" he said aloud with a smile, tail flicking behind him as he crouched down, orange hues peering around to see where and upon what he should pounce.
It was such an art, it had to be perfect!
Especially in front of such a wise lion!
Murasame spotted a pebble, no larger than a shell rhino bug, and grinned, tongue sticking out from the corner of his mouth he crouched down, and sprung forward upn it, paws outstretched, landed and looked proud.
'Cept he still couldn't roar out his accomplishment.
"Whatcha think?" he asked with orange eyes sparkling.

Kweu seemed to watch with a hushed silence as his eyes closely observed the small cub as he crouched low, his small muscles tensing as a serious expression seemed to draw across his tiny maw. As the small cub bounded forward and pounced with such power for a young male, the creamy yellow adult couldn't help but chuckle quitely to himself. Oh- if only he could be young again or be able to have care free fun with his brother Ayato and Tui! He missed his family but that sense of adventure and excitement always seemed to lead him astray and off where his paws seemed to take him and never did he complain.
If only he could find his brothers and family again- he did miss them so much.
Snapping back to focus upon the cub, Kweu nodded his head and gave a broad smile. "I bet all the other cubs are jealous! You must be really strong, right?" He commented, lowering himself to the cubs level as his paw rustled the top of his hea.
"You'll be a great hunter someday."

"Not so much yet, but soon!" Murasame exclaimed, chest puffed out, a smirk on his face, orange eyes holding excitement in their depths as his tail was still behind him as he attempted to stand strong. "I'll get stronger, and yea, I want to be a good hunter, and make my mom and dad proud of me, and all my siblings," Murasame said with a nod and a smile, walking a few steps, glancing towards home then Kewu.
"Are you a hunter? I could tell my parents I made a new friend today, but they might want to know what you do," he said with a nod.

"I'm sure you'll make your parents proud- no doubt about it," Kweu'Chaka remarked with a warm smile.
Strange how much the small cub reminded him of himself and his brothers and, again, that longing to actually find Tui or Ayato seemed to grip at him and his emotions. For a moment he took a deep breath and slowly exhaled through his nostrils while giving a small, non-chalant shake of his mane. And to the poised question, the creamy, yellow male gave a nod of his head.
"Yup- I'm just a hunter and nothin' special really," Kweu shrugged with a simple smile that seemed to broaden across his maw. "I try to help out around here and do my part but- well, I sometimes get a little sidetracked," he chuckled.
"Sometimes I just like to have fun, you know?"

"Fun is good," Murasame said nodding his head, orange eyes still fixated on Kewu. So big and bright! Murasame wanted to grow big and strong, though of course his pelt would never be as bright as Kewu's. "I hope so, I want them to be so proud of me, so I want to be the best lion I cna be," puffing up his chest as much as he could manage with holding his breath, Murasae looked like he could pop like a bubble upon the water hole surface.
Letting his breath u he giggled and shook his head and pawed at hte ground impatiently.
He wanted to go find his mom and tell her about Mura's new friend.
"I'ma go tell my mommy about you being my new friend! Okay?" Murasame padded over to Kewu quickly, purred and nuzzled his leg, and darted off towards home with a bounce in his tiny paws.
He had made a new friend.
The days were getting brighter, though not as bright as Kewu.
