I was wondering if you can explain to me the jewelry?
Is this a crucial part of the card dogma?
Can other rituals or ties to the card be considered for a small change in flavor?

The jewelry is simply the card power in a different form. Each of the cards are quite literally a card, with the respective suit and number on them.
BUT each card can take on other forms so that it is easier to wield.
Make sense? And if I'm wrong, anyone can feel free to correct me.

I don't see a reason not.
Though logically speaking something as permanent as a a branding would probably represent a card that never or almost never turns off. That's not a ruling or anything but it just makes sense.

I could proudly work with in those parameters.
If one would like there to be a mark that arise when active and disappears in while dormant, would that be a problem?
By the way I have been doing a lot of research of the symbology of playing and tarot cards. Fascinating stuff.
Did you know there is a card that symbolizes you.
There are cards that depicted for each day of the year.
Four suits = four seasons
52 cards=52 weeks
If you add them all up 1-13
(1+2+3+4+5...
1 being ace 11 =J 12 =Q 13=k
It comes out to 364
if Jack = 1/2
two jacks in a deck =1
365! as in days in the year.

A quick question before I start tackling the profile dealie... Is there a way I can generate the number before I start writing? Since my character as a whole has to be wrapped around the suit used by him/her.

yes.
make the post so it generates the number, and has placeholder content, then edit it.
I've just assumed this is the way everybody did it.

Mmmm, I kind of sort of done everything backwards.
If I ever finish the character write up I'll except what ever punishment comes my way. I don't intend to play until I run everything by the crew.
