Hmm... not bad. I liked the skills both of you showed throught the fight. I'd have to say the winner would be Nosada. Tex, you've obviously got some awesome ideas, but the main thing against you is your spelling and literacy. Sometimes it's hard to tell what you do. And Nosada, you did great, though I'd have liked to see what the giant fireball at the end did! gonk Not to decide the winner of the fight, but just as a person. I like seeing things explode in giant mushroom clouds! sweatdrop

*Nosada enters the city via the southern bridge. He had decided to do a little exploring, to get to know the terrain better. As he walked down the silent street, he wondered how much longer it would take, before he would be strong enough to avenge his parents. He had walked about 3 blocks when he came across a building that looked nearly brand new. He came closer to the building, and noticed a sign on the outside. Most of the letters were gone from the sign, but he could make out the word "research". He went in. The building couldn't have been new. It was barren inside. The main room was very large, and his footsteps echoed throughout. To the right were some elevators, but the couldn't possibly work. Further through the room was a door leading to a stairwell. Nosada went into the stairwell. The stairs leading to the upper floors had been blocked by debris. But there were stairs leading to the basement. He walked down cautiously. The next room he came to looked like a labratory. There were desks and computers and operating tables. He looked around the room, finding a few skeletons as he searched for anything of value. He went around to check each of the desks, and when he came to the third desk, he found something interesting. It was a clear crystal, no bigger than a 1/2 inch in diameter. Under the crystal was a research folder. The papers inside described a gruesome, yet rewarding operation involving the crystal. It described a proceedure in which one's body was to be cut open at least 2 inches deep. It didn't matter where the cut was, so long as it was deep enough. The crystal was to be inserted into the wound, then the wound was to be sutured. Once the wound was closed, the crystal would bond to the flesh in the recipiant's body. The effect would be enhanced magical power. Any skills that have been, or would be learned by the subject would be amplified. This was amazing. Nosada looked around for some medical equipment. Luckily, there was still a sealed first aid kit in one of the desks. He took a shuriken from his belt, and made a deep cut in his left arm. In went the crystal. He closed the wound up and layed down to rest a while. This would make him that much closer to avenging his parents...
