Morticia sat there as she looked at Spike, her fur quickly drying in the warm air, as well as her feathers. She smiled though, but not in a happy, excited way of finding out your secret love might just love you back. Instead she went up to him and patted his head, "I care for you too Spike, you're like my best friend, have been since I was a teen!! And I thank you for that." she said, kissing his cheek in thanks.
Her ears perked up when she heard the flapping of multiple wings and she looked up to see Faye coming her way. She turned away from Spike to go over to the Seraph female to see what she wanted. After a moment of speaking to her in whispers, she turned back to Spike and frowned lightly, "I'm sorry Spike, but I am needed at home now. We'll meet again soon, ok?" she said. With that, she spread her dry wings and took to the air, Faye right beside her.

Spike sighed softly, wincing as she patted him on the top of the head. He watched her take off. He flopped his large body down on the ground, and plunked his head on his fluffy paws, ears drooping to the ground. His heart hurt, he'd laid it bare, well for him at least, and she didnt even seem to notice....A soft whimper escaped him. For the first time ever, he wished he were smaller so he could just...disappear.
Cera spotted her brother, and landed softly beside him. She knew right away that he was upset, it was part of their bond. She stayed silent and just lied beside him, and nuzzled him softly. She couldnt stay long, she still had to track down Whisper, but she had to find her brother first, even though they were miles apart, she'd felt his pain. "Just call for me, and i'll be there" she whispered to him, before taking off to find her little charge.
Spike nuzzled Cera back, before she took off, he felt a little better, but still....it hurt.
