It was time.
Or at least, it had better well be time. Those damnedable women had taken his money, and he was getting fairly impatient now. He was in quite a mood, storming about, randomly throwing his arms into the air, pacing back and forth, mumbling to himself.
This was a lot different from the First Time.
Nathan was a much different man in the months since he had first come to the Center. Now he was healed. Not up to 100% yet, but no more need for crutches, no casts and bandages. He was as amblatory as anyone else, and he aimed to prove it.
As he was right now, marching back and forth in front of the center, trying to work out this Frustration over the adoption. After all, he had filled out the papers, but he wasn't allowed to take the kid home. They had told him to wait. Wait for what? To see if someone else, someone BETTER came along? What was wrong with him? What was wrong with Now?
It was quite understandable that he was angry. Even more so when he remembered that strange Zabuza kid. Left alone as he was.
He stormed up to the door, he was still angry, but damn it all, full speed ahead. He wasn't going to just leave that kid stewing there. His fist came up, slamming hard on the front door, demanding attention and entry into the Adoption Center.
((Edit: I realize it may come off as such, but no, no OOC barb in there. Just kiddin' around. And playing off my character's natural inability to be patient with such things and his hotheadedness. wink ))

"Kaiyumi, will you get off?!"
Sasuke's voice was strained, and irritation flickered over his features as he turned to look at his guardian. Though Kaiyumi was, in a sense, Sasuke's adoptive mother, she was both shorter, as well as younger than her adopted son. She was also far more immature. It was hard to tell who was watching over who.
Flopped over his back, Kaiyumi's arms were around Sasuke's neck, and her legs around his waist. Sticking out her lower lip as Sasuke demanded she get off, the black-haired girl shook her head stubbornly. "But it's fun up here!" She chirped, her happy facial expressions falling a bit at the glare that was shot at her.
"Fun for -you-," The boy corrected, "But you're not the one carrying a heavy girl, whose arms are strangling you." As he spoke, he grabbed her arms, gently prying them loose. "Now off." He ground his teeth. He was pretty sure none of the other kids had been adopted by anyone this childish. Really, he seemed to have to keep an eye out for his guardian, more than she had to for him.
Muttering, Kaiyumi began to step onto the ground, until she she heard the slamming on the door. With a yelp, the girl slipped, landing rather ungracefully, and with a loud thump, on her bottom.
Sasuke on the other hand, merely frowned at the man who stood behind the door, before calling out, dryly, "Door's open."
[[ xDD! *fluffs* Hotheaded characters are fun to RP. :'D And ignore the fact IC Kai is a moron. ]]

WHAM!
The door was thrown open, real quick. The way it slammed against the doorstop/wall you'd think a SWAT team was going to come pouring out of that egress right behind it locking the place down.
Instead, it was just one guy. One guy with a datacard pendant around his neck. That guy looked more than a little steamed. A bit red in the face, his veins were nearly popping out, his hands were clenched tight, and his whole body was just screaming Tension and Violence.
He took all of 15 seconds to compose himself, seeing the two little ones off inside, making sure he was more or less relaxed, breathing slowly before he entered.
A nice, slow step, and he was inside. "Don't suppose you know where the Boss Ladies are, or where they're keepin' my kid?"

Kai blinked, flinching when the door slammed close after the man entered, while Sasuke rose a brow in amusement. "I don't think the owners of this centre will be happy if they find the door off it's hinge." He commented, as Kaiyumi struggled to stand up.
Finally righting herself back up, Kaiyumi cocked her head to the side, glancing at the man curiously as he spoke. Shaking her head, she said, "Nooope! Sorry mister, no idea where any of 'em are right now." Then, realization finally hit her, and her eyes lit up. "Ah! You're one of the new guardians then?" She asked cheerily, bouncing up to him, and peering up at his face. "Hee! I'm a guardian too! My name is Kaiyumi, but just Kai is fine!" She chriped, before motioning towards Sasuke, "And this is Sasuke, who I adopted from here."
Rather odd sight, that the adoptive mother was younger and much smaller than the adopted child.
"Anyways, we can always try looking around the centre to see if any of the owners are around? And if not, at least you get a tour, if you haven't had one already?"

He gave Sasuke a little glance, a quirk of the brow, a slight drop in the corner of his lip, and that momentary look gave the impression of "Wow... I feel sorry for you." as he saw the little girl bouncing around.
"No... no tour. Just want to find my kids. You know where they are being held?" he kept his voice neutral now, but spoke very clearly, still taking steps towards the weird little girl. Yes, keep her on topic, on point, don't let her little mind wander. Damn kids.
The datacard around his neck seemed to shake, just a little, bouncing about 1 cm off his chest, before landing back down.

Seeing the glance, Sasuke replied with a deep grimace, before turning away and doing his best to ignore the man. Yes, indeed he did get a lot of looks like that when people found out Kaiyumi was his guardian, but he certainly didn't like those looks.
"Aw, you sure you don't want a tour?"Kaiyumi's face fell a little, before a thoughtful look spread over her face. Cocking her head to the side, she frowned silently for a moment, before giving another shake of her head. "Unforunately, I have no idea where your kids are. Assuming that they're very young right now, the owners of the centre are probably taking care of 'em right now but as I said, I have no idea where they are. Sorry."
Having answered his question, Kaiyumi's mind wandered off again, to different subjects. She blinked as she noticed a little movement, and her gaze slid towards the datacard. "Muuur? Whazzat?"
