I probley won't be able to get on much longer. My laptop is breaking. All my friends who knew anything about computers laughed at me when I got this one because it was a 'crap computer' as they said but I'm poor and was lucky to even have enough money to get this cheap piece of junk as my only 18th birthday presant, although now I see why they said it was crap. The screen is broke, it won't hold itself up any more, I have to place a large box or something behind the screen to keep it from falling back. And now for some odd reason the plastic on the outside is starting to crack and break and it won't open right anymore... I damn near broke it myself trying to pry it apart to turn it on so I could at least explain that after I shut my computer tonight I have no clue if it will ever open again. My boyfriend says he'll try to make it so it doesn't lock shut but its so messed up I don't know if he can. So unless I magicly get money or someone in my family decides to buy me a computer for x-mas this year I won't be on unless I'm at my boyfriends house or he magicaly fixes it. And after that it's still falling apart so I'm not sure how much time that would add.
Anyone know how to save files, music and pictures without a floppy disc? This computer doesn't have a spot for one 0_o and I don't want to loose any of my music or pictures.
