Hemlocke sat idly on the cusioned top of the window seat that covered one wall of Shiro's bedroom. He was staring out through the glass, his effeminate face set in an expression of misery. He absoloutely hated it when Shiro asked his friend to come over. It wasnt that he had any problem with the man, Kazuki was polite enough and had never caused the Unseelie any upset, that was definately not the problem.. in fact, as an Undera he had rather enjoyed trying to cling to the other man... no... the problem came in the form of a Drow. A Drow named Phyx who would sadly be invited over as well... and he knew that he would never be so lucky as to be told that Phyx had declined the offer. He was of the opinion himself that Phyx liked ot make his life as miserable as possible. Hemlocke, for example, had not long ago had to lose his horns as spring had come and they had had to re-grow... that had been an unpleasnt could of weeks of his Corsea life.. The pair of them tended to grow at the same time more or less... he hoped, each time, that for at least a while he would be the bigger of the two, and perhapse more resiliant that the drow... but it was never the case. So once again it seemed to much to hope that Phyx would turn up today looking like he had a couple of weeks ago.. Hemlocke was sure he was going to have grown as well... With a sigh the young Unseelie brushed his fingers over the soft figure hugging velvet fabric of his trousers, they clung to his hips and things before fanning out a little as they tumbled, dark purple, down his legs, covering most of his soft black boots. His top was, though pretty, far to effeminate for today in his opinon, and he was sure he was going to be teased horribly for how he looked... he couldnt help that he had fae like features.. high cheekbones, large eyes.. fae's tended to just just be generally rather effeminate. He sighed again, his purple eyes still fixed out the window... He was not looking forward to seeing the drow... he liked being alone much better. It was in his nature... UnSeelies were solitary creatures.. He shifted his shoulders, still feeling odd without the wings he had had as an Undera and Coursea... it would take a while to get used to this change. As he turned to look through the doorway into the kitchen, the yellow flowers in his hair rusled gently...
Shiro was putting the shopping he had just completed away. He had asked Kazuki, his rather unusual friend, to come over for the day as he finally had a little bit of time off from the bar, and had decided, as the weather wasnt really all that lovely that a day of just lounging around, maybe a movie..? Some computer games and the like was on the cards, and it was always more fun with a friend... He knew Hemlocke was unhappy about it, but he didnt really see the problem, if Phyx could tollerate the Unseelie, the fae could tollerate him. He didnt htink Phyx was -that- mean to him anyway...

Kazuki came strolling down the street that his friend Shiro lived on. He didn't know if things would be alright there now since his pet was all grown now and only really like him. He didn't want to have to leave because of a fight breaking out and he didn't really know if Shiro's pet could tolerate him all too well. He supposed it would only be a matter of time before he got into another fight again. He looked back to the drow that was walking slowly behind him for some reason. Usually he walked right by his side, but he didn't understand this one. "So what is wrong with you today? Your rather quiet and stand-offish. This started right after I told you we were heading over to Shiro's place didn't it?" He asked the Drow with a light smirk on his lips since he oddly found this amusing to himself. Phyx never really got out or anything and was always in dark places around the house. He only hoped the best for the male, but it was in his nature, so nothing could be done.
Sighing at his own thoughts, he walked right up to his friend's front door and knocked on it lightly. He brushed his hair away from his eyes and waited for Shiro to open.
Phyx walked as if he was in another time and place. He looked around without any emotion showing in his eyes. The people that eyed him in such weird ways since he was one they never seen before. Black skin, red eyes, and pure white hair. He gave them all glares before realizing that he was asked a quesion. "Nothing really....I don't want to go to this place. I don't fit well with others that is why I am acting like this." He told him simply as they came upon the front door. He eyed the door a bit before looking away since he got a slight sweep of anxiety hit him. He knew right away that he would argue with the Unseelie that was inside. He didn't get along with really anyone besides Kazuki, so he didn't think this would work out at all. "Why do annoyances have to exist...?" He asked himself in a muttered tone that was under his breath. Maybe he could find a corner to hide in or somewhere where he wouldn't be bothered. Either way, he was waiting to see that filth come to the door.

Shiro heared the knock and dropped the last two apples he had had into the fruit basket before dusting off his hands, re-winding his black scarf around his neck, and jogging down the coridoor to the door, with a grin he pulled it open and lifted a hand in greeting. "Hey Kazuki," He said brightly, "Sorry the place is a bit of a tip, we just got back from shopping and I havent quite gotten all the stuff put away yet." He smiled at his friend, the dog tags he wore clinking around his neck as he stepped out of the way to let them in. "Just push the door shut behind you if you would." he stated with a look over his shoulder. "There's food in the fridge and drinks and whatnot, you've been here enough toime to know just to help yourself."
~*~
Hemlocke stayed huddled in the living room for now. he had seen them walking up and her eally wasnt too keen on going to say hello. There were large hedges in the way of the path for the most part, but he'd seen flashes of white hair and black skin.. he sighed.. today was going to be unpleasnt.. maybe if he was just quiet it would all wash over him..? Maybe Phyx would leave him alone.. the drow made him so miserable most of the time.. and if he was honest he had no idea what he'd done to offendh im so badly.. With a sigh he brought his legs up onto the window seat and curled his arms around his knee's, sighing as he heared the predictable...
~*~
"You can go sit in the living room if you want Phyx, Hem's probably in there, but I'm sure you wont get in eachother's way..."

Kazuki smiled a bit when Shiro opened the door. He stepped inside while grabbing Phyx's hand and pulling him inside with him. He shut the door and looked around a bit. "It's alright. So what did you buy? Knowing you, it was probably a bunch of goodies right?" He smirked as he walked over to a couch and took a seat. "Have you been up to much lately?" He asked curiously as he picked up a magazine and began t o flip through it. He side glanced to Phyx and wondered if the male drow would go speak with Hemlocke since he didn't want him standing there all alone. "Go speak to Hemlocke Phyx...He won't kill you I am sure." He said with a wider smirk then before as he went back to reading.
Phyx sneered as he was pulled in and then muttered under his breath when he heard his guardian tell him to speak with Hemlocke. "No..." He said simply before looking to Shiro. "I suppose I will, but I doubt I will talk to him." He said to him simply as he walked into the living room and immediately saw Hemlocke. He gave him a glare before moving over to a seat and sitting down all leisurely. He had to admit that Hemlocke was very attractive, but didn't want to even think about that right now.

Shiro laughed as he looked over at his friend, "I've not really been doing much, I had double hours at work for the last week and a half, which is why i've been a bit out of touch.." he said, putting some cans of soup away as he talked to his friend. "You're right though, a lot of this is junk food.. all the basics as well though, you know.. bread.. milk cheese.." He smiled "I just like the random little treats I get myself as well, it makes life more interesting.." he lifted his hat off his head for a moment and dragged his fingers through his hair. "I dont exactly know what we'll do today.. I suppose we could walk down to blockbuster and get a movie or somthing..?" he suggested with a smile, "I can make popcorn..?"
~*~
Hemlocke held in a shudder as he heared Phyx agree to come in and see him... when he looked up though he felt himself go completely tense, his large blue eyes went slightly wider, and he had to look away agian, back to the window, afraid, horribly horribly afriad that he might actually blush a little. Phyx had changed a lot... a hell of a lot... at least on the outside. He had no doubt that the Drow would still be as bitter and mean as he had ever been in personality... but... well, in all honesty the poor unseelie had to admit there was very little tha Phyx could have changed about himself to make him look better... His hair was such a lovely bright white against his now perfectly black skin... his eyes were fierce and red and Hemlocke couldnt bear the idea of looking into them... he'd be trapped there. This was awful this was absoloutely the worst thing that could ever have happened to him ever! Why! dear god Why did he have to find that horrible Drow so damned attractive... Why couldnt he have turned out ugly... He sighed... "Hello Phyx..." he said quietly.. still not managing to look back at him... "I... I see you have your true form back as well.."

Kazuki listened to him talk as he continued to flip through the magazine rather boredly. "I see. Those things are good." He told him simply as he thought about the movies that he actually wanted to see. He rarely had time to even watch movies anymore since he got his job, so he doubted he would want to even see a movie. "That sounds fine, but I don't know what we could watch. I mean I haven't seen a movie in ages, so it would have to be your choice." He told him simply as he put the magazine down and looked to Shiro with his eyes fixed on him. He flicked his long black hair over his shoulder and barely blinked as he looked to the other boy. "Popcorn sounds fine." He said in a light tone of voice to him.
Phyx was bored already since he had nothing to do, but wait until Kazuki was ready to leave. That is if he wanted to leave, which made it even worse for him in his mind. He turned to look at Hemlocke right away when he heard him say something to him. "Don't say hello to me. I never said it to you." He snapped back at him with his red eyes narrowing on him completely. "Heh I suppose." He shrugged as he looked away. "I see you came out looking more girlier then ever. Do you honestly think that is a good thing?" He asked him simply in a bitter tone.

Shiro smiled, "I dont mind picking, and well, you dont really have to watch it, it just might be nice, Maybe die hard..? They were always good for mindless entertainment.." he looked thoughtful, tossing a slab of butter from one hand to the other twice before putting it away in the fridge and smiling over at his friend. "We can let the kids go upstairs I guess," he stated, meaning the Corsair's, "And we'll hang in the living room, Hemlocke's room is big enough, and there is always the office if they just cant get along." he rubbe dhisnose once as he closed the fridge door. "Dont worry, I wont subject you to romances.." he grinned at his friend as he walked over to him and gave him a small tug. "Come on, if we go now we might miss the rain." He tuged his hat more firmly onto his head. "Be Good while we're out Hemmy!" He called, going to the door.
~*~
Hemlocke looked down at the slightly faded blue velvet he was sitting on. He knew it shouldnt hurt any more.. he should be used to the biting words by now, but somehow no matter how long be spent with the Drow he just couldnt get used to it... "Sorry... I was only trying to be polite.." he murmured, in responce to being told off for saying hello.. and barely surpressed a flinch at the slight on his looks... it was hardly his choice how he looked..? Was it...? "N- Not really.." he said quietly. "I... I dont like the flowers.. but Shiro does... and.. I didnt choose the top.. but all my clothes are in this style..." he slowly lifted a hand and brushed his fingers over his high cheek bones and looked down again. "I... I didnt think I looked too bad though.." he murmured even more quietly, the words barely above a whisper. Half him wanted to call out to Shiro not to leave him.. but he couldnt do that... "See you later Shi-chan.." he said quietly.

Kazuki listened to him more as he talked and got up from the couch to stretch. He yawned a little bit before looking to Shiro again. "That sounds fine and I hope they will be alright together. I mean Phyx is really mean nowadays and if Hemlocke can't take that kind of behavior, then they will fight the whole time." He then walked to the front door and stood there for a moment. "I don't mind romances anymore." He simply said since he finally put his past behind him. "Alright let's go then." He nodded as he left the house with Shiro.
Phyx turned his head to his guardian and Shiro leaving the house. He was now stuck all alone with this he/she and there was nothing he could do. "Damn..." He muttered as he looked back to the other male. "Don't be sorry either. It shows weakness and vulnerability." He said simply as he have him a full body look over. "Flowers are the worst thing ever. They make me want to puke." He told him bitterly as he brushed his shirt down a bit. "I see. Why not change you style then? It's very unflattering." He said simply as he rose to his feet and stretched.

Shiro haddnt exactly let his own past go.. and honestly didnt think he ever would, but he never let that show, especially not when he was around Kazuki.
~*~
Hemlocke paused again, he knew it was going to be horrible if phyx came here.. he just knew it! Each knew insult really stung him.. it wasnt his fault.. he didnt have any money from this would.. how could he just go out and buy clothing.. he was scared of the humans.. he didnt like how they stared at him.. he couldnt help his horns either.. and that was what earned him the most looks.. no hats fitted him so he only ever went out at night.. and never to area's that had people in them. Growing up his only companion had been Phyx.. so he was consequently very lonely... it made him sad it really did. He wanted friends.. he saw Shiro with his.. Kira and Kazuki.. and a few others that came round... he wished he'd had people like that.. but all he had was Phyx... The orb Kira had didnt really seem to want to grow.. he looked after it now and then.. but it wasnt the same.. and it made him feel a little queasy sometimes as it was really very very bright and hummed all the time. He was getting slightly wound up now though... he haddnt even done anything today! He haddnt even really looked at the dorw! Why! Dear god why was he treating him so badly! Why did he have to hate him so much... he felt his eyes burning slightly... oh hell no. He was -not- gonig to cry! "If you hate Flowes so much I hope you fall in them." He muttered, his eyes staing fixed on the windows.

Phyx snapped his head back to look to Hemlocke with his brows so furrowed that his eyes looked like they would pop right out of his head. He felt so angry for no reason since he usually brushed off most comments, but this male's words were making him angry for some reason. Maybe he really was a friend to him afterall, but hadn't come to realize it yet. "Really now? Heh me die from flowers...That is a laugh." He muttered as he walked closer to the other male and eyed him more thoroughly. "You kind of look like a flower. A big bright filthy flower." He snapped at him before turning away and began to head into the living room. He needed to find something to do that wasn't anywhere near this male. He would end up arguing with him until he passed out. "What can we do besides argue? I really don't want to upset my guardian, so it's best we find something more mature." He said to him simply with a slight shake of his head.

Hemlocke looked incredulous. "Do you really think I'm some kind of helpless little sissy that will just fall over and do what you say after you speak to me like that?" He demanded. "I'm an Unseelie fae thank you ver much! We have mroe selfrespect than that!" He looked as venemously as he could at teh Drow. The bloody nerve of him! Insulting him for no reason, and then all of a sudden wanting to play friends... or at least maturity... "I'm- No I'm not sorry, I dont care what you do and dont want to do." he stated, folding his arms. "You've come here and been nothing but beastly today, calling me 'weak', 'vulnerable' telling me things that I like make you want to puke.. telling me I'm filthy. On what level do you think any of that makes me want to get along with you..?" he glared at him again, his blue eyes still slightly fearful. he was frail compared to the Drow.. he would definately come off worse if this became violent... He had gone from wanting to cry, to wanting to slap him! He was so arrogant thinking that people would just do what he wanted them too. "I dont even care if you think me immature after this.. you.. you.." He stamped his foot once, totally unsure what he was going to say.. "You make me want to cry!" That said me pushed himself up off of the seat he had been settled on and fled up the stairs, sleeves flying behind him, aiming for his room. He needed to calm down.. that had been more of an outburst that he'd been intending to have.. Phyx.. There had always been that little part of him.. even when they were both very young that had desperately looked up to the drow.. he had always been bigger.. stornger.. better at everything.. he had wanted to badly to be Phyx's friend.. to have him have even the tinyest little bit of respect for him.. he sight, eyes damp now as he fled from him. He had liked him even more through the teen like stage of his life.. but had also been terrified of him.. now it was worse because he was already struggling with the fact he liked Phyx on some level he had never expected to... and this was one of the main reaosns the drow could hurt him so easilly.. when you like somone.. and they do nothing but put you down.. it hurts more than you can ever imagine.

Phyx halted when he heard the other boy's words. He turned around to face him and wanted to say something to him, but watched him flee from him. He knew he was crying and he couldn't deal with that. He didn't like when people cried and actually hated it since that also showed weakness. He never cried and that probably killed his emotions away. This was different though...He actually made someone cry and it made him feel completely depressed. Did he actually think of this male as a friend? He didn't know whether or not it was true, but he wanted to know for sure sooner or later. This right now made him sad and that was one thing he knew. It showed that he did have emotions occasionally.
He simply watched as the boy ran from his sight to probably go cry alone and walked over to a couch. He sighed heavily and plopped down on it. "Great...I should probably stay home all the time now." He said simply said to himself as he eyed around the place a bit. He knew he should get up and follow after Hemlocke, but didn't want to see him crying. Letting his eyes fall down to his shirt, he brought his hand up to the gash in it and poked his skin through the mesh.

Hemlocke hated crying, mainly because it made his eyes hurt, and he hated it when they went red as well. He couldnt help it though.. this had hurt him a lot... part of him just wanted to stay up here all night now.. to just stay away from the horrible Drow.. He sighed.. Why did phyx hate him so much..? He honestly couldnt remember doing anything to him.. he just remembered always wanting to run away from him as a child.. and then again when he got older. Always wanting to be nearh im, but far too scared to be. Finally, ten minutes after fleeing to his room, maybe fifteen, he pushed himself up, grabbing a tissue, an dprceeded to tidy himelf up again, his hair was messy now, flowers had tumbled out of it and his eyes burned. Silently he gathered up the blossoms and took himself, and the hair decorations to the bathroom, where he proceeded to bathe his eyes to try and reduce the reddened colour they had gone, and fixed his hair. "Why make it easier for him to snipe at me.." he murmured miserably to himself. He haddnt liked shouting back at Phyx.. he didnt want to make things even worse between them, but even the most patient and calm of people can only take so much abuse. A few minutes later he felt he looked at least presentable. His eyes were still slightly read, and looked sad.. evidence to the fact he had been crying. He was sure Phyx would have somthing to say about it.. but he supposed that that was inevitable no matter what really. Shaking his head, and tugging the top he was wearing down slightly where it had ridden up and exposed his tummy he moved back down the staircase, his purple velvet trousers swaying around his legs as he headed back into the living room, his eyes staying fixed on the floor as he forced himself to walk in and move back over to the window seat once again.

Phyx was lost in thought at the moment since he didn't really know how to deal with upset people. He never even upset anyone in the first place anyway. Maybe he upset Mere when they were kids, but he knew how to deal with him. All he had to do was tell him a lie and that pink phantom got all happy again. He honestly didn't know how to make Hemlocke feel better and he didn't like saying sorry to people. It showed that he actually cared about what he did to them. Drows were suppose to be bitter, mean, and evil. Not a breed that cares about others. Maybe he could make an exception here since no one else was around. He honestly was so lost on what to do right now that it was making him a bit angry.
Blinking finally when he heard the soft footsteps of someone walking by, he turned his head in that direction to see Hemlocke go back to his window. He examined him carefully and could see all the signs that he had been crying. Getting up from his seat, he went into the kitchen and got a clean glass out. He opened the frige up and took out some grape juice. He poured some into the glass before placing it into the frige again and shutting it. He picked up the glass and walked back into the living room thinking this was something he should do for him. He didn't think nothing else of it or bother to ask. That was how he was. He usually did things without thinking or asking. He moved swiftly over to Hemlocke and held the glass of grape juice out to him. "Here..." He said simply and looked away from him completely.
