Alright, before you begin, I suggest you compare the faction you'll be joining's suggested classes against this list, there's nothing preventing you from joining a faction that isn't working on the weapon you plan on using, but it's a good idea. That said, assuming you know generally what faction you're going into, choose from the below choices. These are available to everyone, no matter what.

Slowly... Slowly... You can feel your new body. It seems strange, not quite the same. Your legs... Your arms... Yes, you've got it now. Open your eyes... Cobble stone?


Following this post you may move directly into play, however the rest of this post will be used to explain how to move outside of combat.


I live on the western edge of the US, so from now on, unless otherwise noted, all events and times will be based on Pacific Standard Time.

Alright! Under normal circumstances, 1 day will equal 4 turns. Divided into 6 hour sections, meaning from 3 AM to 9 AM, 9 AM to 3 PM, 3 PM to 9 PM, and 9 PM to 3 AM.

All maps other than towns are 20x20 Squares. As such, it would logically take 1 day to traverse a single hex. Please use the following chart for how long it takes to move from one hex to another:

1-3 Move = 1/8 Hex per turn
4-9 Move = 1/4 Hex per turn
10-16 Move = 1/2 Hex per turn
17-36 Move = 1 Hex per turn
37-56 Move = 2 Hex per turn
57-76 Move = 3 Hex per turn
From then on just increase the numbers by twenty at a time.
(Yes, those are some RIDICULOUSLY high moves, but I expect people to slowly but surely be approaching at least the two hex per turn number.)

Towns are worked differently. Although their size is larger, assume they are only a half hex for movement purposes.

In this manner movement is carried out on the over-world.

Next is shopping. You will notice a number of stickied threads listing all equipment available. Next to each piece will be a letter and a number. Your faction will have a number of letter/number combinations representing the shop ranks inside said faction, because each faction can only have 3 different weapon types at the same time, it's suggested you choose a faction working on the weapon type you plan on using.

To balance out this fact, and the fact that people will NOT be starting with any money, all players will begin with the following items:

Mint Gum, Unopened Drink, Faerie Dust, Amulet, and tier 1 weapon of choice.

The tier 1 weapons are: Wristband, Common Sword, Common Spear, Common Bow, RQ22 Common, Common Axe, Wooden Staff, and Paw Glove. Types should be readily apparent.

-.- Sorry I didn't finish this post earlier, I saw your post, and midway in to posting, my computer committed sepuku. That said, here we go. You'll see there's several different classes available. As of this moment, you simply get to choose from those. As time goes on people will recieve the option to transmigrate and thus move to higher powered classes, but for now, choose from the classes available.

Alright then, each of the classes available have a list of stats under them. Let's say you're a male Warrior, this would be the list you would receive:

This means that you have before all equipment,
14 HP (Your health)
6 SP (Used for skills)
11 Atk (Used in all weapons aside from the gun and bow. Half is used towards bows.)
8 Def (Reduces damage taken from attacks based on Atk or Hit)
8 Int (Used to determine damage from magic)
Spd- 11 (Used to determine evasion.)
Hit- 11 (Used to determine accuracy, as well as damage from guns.)
Res- 8 (Used to determine resistance to magics, and all attacks based on Int.)

Beyond this you'll notice these three stats:

Mv- 5
Ct- 1
Jm- 15

This means that you can move 5 panels per turn, you counter once, and can jump up to 15 units. (I forgot the unit they used.)

These are your hard stats, and determine most combat directly.

Aside from these stats, you'll notice aptitudes. These are applied to any equipment one wears to determine how much of the bonus you receive.

In this case, if you're a warrior as before, you have an aptitude of 100% in def, and 70% in Int. Let's say you equip the item "Faux Headband" This item raises your def by 20, and your int by 10. You receive the full benefit of 20 def, but instead of receiving 10 int, you only receive 7.

This applies the same to other stats derived from equipment.

Finally, you'll notice these stats:

This sort of screwed itself up, but that's the correct order. In this case, you'd have an E in Fists, but an A in swords, your C in spears wouldn't hurt either.

These determine how fast you learn new skills using weapons, and level up your weapon mastery.

You might notice that elemental resistances are missing, I've chosen to forgo that on the first few people for simplicities sake, although I'm willing to allow people to take 10 for 10 bonuses and penalties if they so desire.

Finally, once you've chosen your class, you receive several items. Specifically, Mint Gum, Unopened Drink, Faerie Dust, Amulet, and a tier 1 weapon. In this case the best choices for a weapon would be a Common Sword, Common Spear, or Common Axe. Starting equipment (All equipment unless explicitly mentioned) has 0 specialists, this is to simplify starting things for me.
