This a thread to discuss "Your FIRST..."

... = Whatever I want it to! I AM THE DISCUSSION MASTER!! MUAHAHAH!

To start it off, let's discuss...the first Video Game you EVER PLAYED, and whether you think your "taste" in Video Games has matured since then.
PostPosted: Mon Aug 13, 2007 5:58 am

My first Video Game was Rocket Knight Adventures for the Sega Genesis. It was a side-scrolling game similar to a Sonic of Mario game. You were an armadillo dressed in armour, and some missions were flying with your jet-pack. It was awesome.

Have my tastes for fine gaming matured since then? Possibly. I still like to play those ridiculous kind of adventure games, though now-a-days I'm more likely to be parked in front of a good RPG, or screaming into my Mic while playing an awesome FPS, like Battlefield ******** kick-a**.

My first was probably Pokemon Red. I think my tastes have matured a little, seeing as I've become more picky with my RPGs. I still enjoy a good Pokemon adventure every couple of years or so. sweatdrop

Symphonie has the right idea. First game I ever played was Super Mario Brothers on Nintendo, and that's only if you don't count the ATARI games in the arcades. You guys make me feel old.

I had an Atari before the Genesis, but I never played it cuz it was broke.

Well...considering ive been a gamer since the ripe old age of 2 please forgive me if my memory fails me...im fairly sure my first game was contra, possibly teenage mutant ninja turtles...not entirely sure what it was though cause i mean come on...i was still a little one...

On a side note, a fun filled fact...I used to play nintendo with the controller upside down untill the super nintendo came out because of the L/R buttons i had to relearn...i was actually pretty good despite the upside down factor lol...was dead set on having the cord supposed to be coming out of the bottom of the controller though.

ALRIGHTY! NEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWW TOPIIIIIIIIIIIC!

What was your first experience with Anime?

I'm going to narrow it down a little too; When I say Anime, I mean, that really crazy s**t! I mean the first Anime you saw that REALLY made you want to watch/read/breathe/LIVE Anime.

See, technically my first Anime was Speed Racer, but I didn't know it was an Anime. Dragonball and Dragonball Z didn't really make me want to watch it either though.

As I recall, I believe my first Anime was actually an OAV called Tatoon Master. ******** bad-a**.

Wow, really?

I am surprised. Mine was The Sixth Sense, cuz I was....ten or eleven when I saw it. The movie itself wasn't that scary, but the kid with the missing part of his head scared the s**t out of me.

And the crazy dead old lady who was screaming at him.
