It took them twenty minutes to arrive, and another five to get up to the third floor, where Ancelin's room was. It'd taken a few moments for the receptionist to let them in, considering they weren't family. In the end, it wasn't Indu's teary eyes that got them through, it was Jan's blank face, with fierce, angry eyes and quiet, firm tone that did it.
Now Indu pushed open the door, face already tear-streaked as she immediantly went to join Tenshi, reaching for the older woman's hand. Jan entered silently, and moved to the side of the bed, ignoring the other people in the room. The pheasant sin'aeis eyes were closed, and she was a mess. Still, she'd been taken care of. Voice calm, soft, and restrained, the blonde began to speak to her.
"... Wha' 'appened t'ya, baby...? 'Ow ya gon' clean like tha'? Oh, my silly girl... Y'd better be alrigh'..."
Indu leaned over to whisper in Tenshi's ear, gaze lowered. "She hasn't spoken before this, not since the phone call."

After the doctor had let them in and told them that Ancelin was going to most likely survive, Tenshi had stopped crying. She now instead just sat in one of the two chairs they provided for family and friends with her hands folded over her mouth, glaring at a crack in the tile flooring. As if that tile had no right to be cracked and needed to be severly punished for even exsisting.
Once Indu came in however her eyes weakened and she squeezed her partner's hand tight when it was given to her. She nodded to what Indu said, before she cleared her throat and spoke up. "The doctor said she's not out of the red yet, but things are looking in our favor. She's due to have another surgery in three hours to reset and pin some broken bones.. And they're going to have to amputate her wings." she explained. She then looked back to Indu with her hand hiding half her face. "I'm so scared, Indu. I don't know how I can help her like this." She was reffering to her mortality.
Vincent was standing in the corner of the room looking like he had just been dumped at prom, his face was red and his eyes where wet from all the crying he had done. His arms where crossed firmly over his chest. He walked over to the corner closest to Jani and looked down at the sleeping girl in front of her, before he sniffled. "The doctor said she should wake up any minute now."

Jan shifted to sit on the bed, her long, slim fingers gently brushing hair from Ancelin's face as she bent to barely touch her lips to the other girl's mouth. She wasn't speaking anymore, instead mannuvering her long, lean body until it fit perfectly on the bed with the pheasant girl's, brown eyes closed. She didn't cry. An didn't need to see or hear that.
Indu kept her grip on Tenshi's hand, frowning slightly with understanding as she watched the teenagers before them. This accident was probably harder on everyone around Ancelin, rather than her personally. She knew it had to be hard on Jan, who was dealing with her conflicting feelings about the other girl. "She'll be alright, Shi."

An's heart monitor quickened two beats and Ancelin's eyes tensed. She slowly turned her head to the side and moaned, squeezing the warmth beside her. "Jani..?" She mumbled before opening her eyes. She saw the blond beside her and let out a bright smile.. Before the pain hit her. Her face scrunched up and she let out a groan as she looked down at her body. She gasped and went to sit up, but quickly decided that was a bad idea and rested against the bed. "I'm in a hospital..? What happened?" She asked as she looked to the faces around her. "The last thing I remember is a little girl running into the road.."
Vincent and Tenshi's bodies both relaxed with relief when Ancelin awoke. Tenshi sniffled and squeezed Indu's hand while Vincent wiped his eyes. "You got yourself hit by a car, stupid!" Vincent said with a crack in his voice, trying to hide the fact he had been crying from An.
