So I found the 58th volume of the manga in San Francisco.... and i'm spazzing out of my mind.
From the looks of it, Kir just shot and probably just killed Shuichi. gonk *sob* *cry* *misery*
I dont know if i believe it or not... but it reeeeeally looks that way. I know he's been shot, i just don't know if he dies or not.
There was soooooooooooo much plot in this volume. I really really wish i could read Japanese right now. But, on the plus side, it looks like it's only like 3 more volumes of content to go through before the anime catches up to this point. eeps! *excitedness*
I *think* this is the most recent volume to be released in Japan, but if any of you have access to the Shounen Sunday issues with further plot developments, please don't tell me if you know what happens after this! sweatdrop

I don't really believe it either, but apparently the boss told Kir to kill Shuichi to prove her loyalty to the organization. The police found the burnt body and proved it to be him, but it may of just been another trick. Oh and no need buying all the manga, I've recently started reading the manga on this site: http://conan.avionicknight.com/
