Okay, I'm going to tell this story as clearly as I can.
My mother is a great worker, with management experience. She works in a kitchen in a grocery store. She is having a tough time of it at work, with her assistant manager being an... abysmal assistant manager (my mom's only a supervisor). He doesn't do his work, and what little he does, he does badly or wrong, making my mom clean up his mess (or just plain do it for him). A few days ago, maybe even a week ago, he... mistreated his employees, in front of customers, without repercussion.
In short, he's a bad worker and an even worse boss, and nothing is being done about it.
My mom put in her three week notice yesterday. Shortly after she made the decision, a man she'd tried to do business with a few years ago (she wanted to open a restuarant) came up to her today and point-blank asked her if she was ready to run it. Remember the problems of the last time, of which there are many, she talked with him about it, and he assured her it was different. Some of the other employees, overhearing the conversation, came to my mom and offered to work for her as well. These people are the best in the kitchen, and would, along with my brother, sister and me, make for a fully staffed restuarant.
The whole point of this being, I would like to ask you to pray for this, that the Lord would lead us to the proper decision, and that it wouldn't be tainted by Satan. Thank you for this.
Love in Christ,
