Yeah Cruisin is definitely. Have you heard the live version? I think Maynard's band plays it. That's the version I got to play. It's got a phsychotically awesome sax soli in the middle of it.

Channel 12 - Buddy Rich. Sounds like a 70s movie soundtrack. I even envision a car chase..

Channel 1 Suite, most definitely. That thing is crazy/fun like no man's business. There's a full band version of I Remember Clifford that is probably one of my favorite ballads that I've played... What else. Sidewinder is just a fun song to play, but that's just as easily done with a combo or a band. Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts - Tank! Though I haven't played it yet in a big band setting, I could listen to that thing for hours on end. Along with Rush, maybe.

Groove Merchant by Thad Jones that's a great jazz tune with a wonderfull sax soli.
Some of my favorites are arranged by people that most folks havent heard of though so i dont really need to mention em.

Quincy_Uryu_Ishida Ooh! You know whats cool? The Peter Gunn Theme! I own the soundtrack to Peter Gun and Henry Mancini is one hell of an arranger. Ever play Dreamsville? it's on that same album and is a very nice ballad.
