Nox Umbrae

Nox was turned about a month after his fifteenth birthday. His master--the woman who turned him--found him dying on the streets of London, and decided to give him immortality on a whim. Nox doesn't remember anything about his human life, not even his real name. He can recall details about himself and general things--his birthday, his favourite color, which side of a plate the fork goes on, etc.--but the reason he lost his memory remains a mystery to him. The vampire who turned him gave him the name Nox, and he took her last name Umbrae.
Nox is very short, only 5'3", and has a thin, lithe build. Because of his small stature and his shoulder-length, curly black hair, people often mistake him for a young girl, which annoys him endlessly. He has large red eyes and an androgynous face, and his tendancy to wear elaborate, effeminate things only adds to his woes about looking female. He wears mostly black and red, the only other color in his attire being a solid gold choker inscribed with 'Tempus Nihil Est' that he always wears. Gloves that reach up to his elbows are also a permanent addition to his outfit.
Nox was most likely born into a noble family, because his arrogance is nearly legendary. He has serious issues about being in control, and he can be cold and almost cruel at times. Once he warms up to someone, however, he is a very affectionate, loyal friend.
