Yar, Kakashi definitely has his good points, but Itachi has had the Sharingan way longer, he also has advanced Sharingan.. But Kakashi has his own little secrets.. I don't know who would win.. I'm sorry to say that I am kinda on Itchi's side here..

Itachi's much more well-practiced with the Sharingan and Mangekyou, etc, etc.
If it's Itachi vs. Kakashi one-on-one, then Itachi'd win, but if someone strong was assisting Kakashi, then Kakashi'd have a good chance.

but now in the shippuuden..... sweatdrop
its may be a tie, I mean think about it,
but as much as I'm a fan of kakashi, I say itachi.... sweatdrop
but-but-but there is a chance kakashi might win sweatdrop
I'm not saying kakashi would loose.

Yar, if Kakashi had a stron helper, it woul dnot be fair. And therefor Kakashi would not be winning, he would be CHEATING! (Not that Kakashi would ever cheat)
