I dunno whether this should go here or to Life... I dunno. Dko, feel free to move this if necessary smile
Okay! So, I'm starting a GSA at my school this year, and I was just wondering if anyone could give me some pointers, especially on what kind of activities to do, things like that. I would really, really appreciate it. I would really like this to work out, and I would feel so horrible if it just failed >.<

Gay straight alliance,
it's like really fun and stuff but the seniors that started it last year all graduated so now the juniors/new seniors are taking it over, also we have different lunch periods so we can't meet as frequently as we like, activities we did last year included:
sharing previous experiences as being bi that people made fun of you for or harmed you in any way for, then consoling you about it,
writing down all the things you think are supposed to be in a man/woman and discussing them
movie night at IFC in the village, saw two films it was really fun one was bisexual and the other one gay/lesbian so best of both worlds, well all three :3
just some of the stuff but you should think of some on your own too, spread the word I'm sure you'll find people like you make posters, myspace bulletins, etc. biggrin

Thanks Seanjay. Now that I know, I think that every school should have that. Just keep pushing it at a moderate pace and it WILL succeed! I think maybe I will mention this to my school administrators as well... wink

I think maybe I will mention this to my school administrators as well... wink Yeah it was a good experience a few people from our student council were on it so that helped also.. and um....pudding!
