Gazyi Jacob just bothers me overall. neutral He's not that bad. I acctually feel sort of bad for him. I hope he imprints on someone. 3nodding

I don't think so. He shouldn't have tried anything he did to try and force his feelings on Bella. It hurt everyone and certainly didn't help his cause in trying to get Bella to go with him instead of Edward.

I totally hated that part. I bookmarked the spot, threw the book down, and started jumping on my bed. I was mad because she actually asked Jacob to kiss her!

Actually, I didn't feel that bad about it.
Jacob was Bella's lifeline really, her only tie to the 'real' world, if you look at it. Jacob was the only thing that kept her from changing into a vampire, but if you look at that kiss, it's more of a goodbye then anything.
Jacob was cocky, but Bella really did seem to need him, and if she hadn't kissed him, he might have killed himself during the battle. I'm guessing that part of Bella wanted to be with Jacob, the human part of her, but the other side of her that was and is destined to be a vampire will always belong to Edward, no matter what.
So really, I think that kiss was more of a goodbye then anything, thus why it didn't bother me too much.
