A friend of mine showed me something last Sunday. Something that made me very upset. It has made me angry. It has confused me. It was a recording of a man in a church talking to a bunch of people, saying he has 100 reasons why evolution is stupid and creationism is better. And if I ever see this man in real life, I'll push him down a flight of stairs. 100 Reasons Why Evolution Is Stupid

I'm not going to take a look at the video, because I don't need to. Have you ever noticed Christians are not the only people trying to prove what they're saying is true? This man isn't the only man that has done this. And I'm sure that Athiest / Intelligent Design believers have all bashed each others opinions before.
Pushing him down a flight of stairs because you don't agree with what he's saying is a bit much, don't you think?

No I really don't. The guy who swears blind that the Earth is flat is just as annoying. Probably more annoying actually. Definetly more annoying.

& yeah, I hate people like that. I haven't watched the vid but I know the kind you're talking about. ugh. Pushing them down flights of stairs although fun would only result in them going "see, I told you so, I was right" when it has nothing to do with what they were saying in the first place. xd I hate it when people with the power to influence are like that though because people will follow them blindly with no question so then we're left with another whole group of people spewing stuff they can't & won't think on & defend in any way that makes sense.....I'm getting all worked up....must go play some sudoku to calm down.... razz

if you don't take it seriously, a lot of the stuff he says is pretty funny.
I only watched (listened really) to about 20-30 min. it's 2 hours long, I just don't have the time or patience to listen for much longer.
it's almost like a stand up comedian routine that focuses on people who believe in the bible. gets them comfortable instead of apprehensive, if you're not liking what he's saying, and doesn't focus too much on faith in the bible, but more towards disproving evolution.
which I do have to hand it to him, he makes some really good points. but that doesn't make me believe in god or the bible any more or less for it. xp

I will admit. Some of the points made did make me smile for their pure ridiculousness. Such as that one about no one ever seeing a star forming. Because that's likely. You'd have to randomly point your telescope at a spot in the sky and cross your fingers. And some parts brought back flashbacks, of the time my Dad forced me to one of those silver ring things and I stood in shock in the doorway, unable to believe my own ears. *shudders*. I've never been so freaked out in my entire life
