If you knew that this has been asked before, then why didn't you try and search for that post? Honestly...
The only difference between them is in the plot. Some things happen in one that doesn't happen in another. Simple as that really.

Why don't I have wings to float into the sky, like the wind, like the clouds? _________________________________
Manga: Uses the storyline from the ROM novels. Anime: Uses events from ROM and RAM, but it's more like a summary of said events. For example, Episode Two had an entire hospital scene in the novel, but none of it was included in the anime. (For shame, it would have been good, too) Novels: Describes things in more depth than the anime, has more scenes than the eps. For example, 'From the Empire' was horribly butchered in the anime. You didn't know what the hell was going on at first, and only halfway through the episode do you find out what's going on, whereas in the novel it explains things perfectly.
But yes. Next time, do your research before you post. You'll save yourself the trouble of having your head bitten off by me or another forum member. XD

You know, there was a really good article, if one would call it that, in this month's Anime Insider that tells the difference between the manga and the anime. I'd post it now but my magazine is at home while I am stuck here at the hospital.

I've noticed that there are quite a few chapters in the manga that aren't in the anime; actually, I believe that the whole second volume is completely omitted...a pity really. The second volume's my favorite one so far... sweatdrop

They are all quite different from each. Even though they all have over lapping events an moments, the manga and the anime dont actually follow the time line of the novel-first to come out........Also some of the character's personalities stray a little from the novel and the anime Like Ion who is supposed to refer to him seld in third person doesnt do that in the anime................its frustrating a little to watch or read apart an be like wtf thats not supposed to happen or be like he shouldnt be in this scene....... BUT IT STILL AMAZING AN WILL ALWAYS BE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xp blaugh

I agree that the anime butchers the manga, and after watching the episodes a few times, you have to agree that it isn't very well done. It's amazing, but I begin to feel it's just because Trinity Blood's amazing.
Abel is -say- less censored in the manga, which strikes me as more gory. And the Ibelis chapter made no sense. I don't remember them mentioning the Ibelis at all (though this may be the product of my faulty memory. Back me up, someone?)
But its worth anyone's (and everyone's, in my opinion) to both read and watch Trinity Blood. And the novels sound brilliant from what I've heard of them.
I can understand why you would want to ask instead of researching. I've been distrustful of summaries because of spoilers, which are aptly named.
