Description »» Tsubaki has lived a long life of loneliness and betrayal. She has tried to open herself but only to find herself hurt once again. Now, in these cold days in Ikeburo, she holds and depends only to herself. A door that has lost its key...
When Tsubaki was just a little kitten, she was a stray to begin with. She had never had a home and had to fend for herself most of the time. Not knowing any family made her lonesome. She would always look at cats or kittens that had human companions and how lovely it would be if she had one. All she wanted was a family and the love it gave.
One day, as she wondered the streets, she had collapsed. She hadn't had any food for a few days now also tired from fending off other strays. It was like a dog eat dog world here except it was with cats. A man picked up the kitty to bring home.
Tsubaki woke up in a warm and cozy atmosphere she has never experienced before...except maybe in thrown-out rugs. Where was she? A home? Is it really possible?
For the next month or so, Tsubaki was in the care of a man. It took awhile to trust the man, but it was too soon. She fell in love with the man but she knew it would never be. He was the first on that took her in and raised her with the love she wanted. To all this goodness, there was always a dark day ahead.
Couple of months later, the man Tsubaki once loved had changed. She did not know why or what happened. The home she once knew started to get cluttered and putrid. She was rarely fed anymore and would get kicked or smacked away if she got close to the man. Suddenly, sooner or later food became scarce and the man came home with a bad odor. In the house, besides the man, she still had meat on her. The man was desperate and tried to eat her.
It happened one night, where in months or anything, the man had called her to the kitchen. Happily, she still had her love for the man, she followed to his call. She walked up to him wondering what he wanted. He looked very deranged and was holding something behind his back. He held out a hand for Tsubaki to grasp. She didn't though and the man urged. She didn't move, scared. Finally, the man grew impatient and broke out trying to slice or slaughter Tsubaki with a kitchen knife. Tsubaki ran. The man threw a small kitchen knife. It missed Tsubaki but hit her left eye. She roared in pain as she leaped out of the window and into the distant she ran off to.
She wondered through Ikeburo with her injured eye, lost again on what to do. Betrayed. A person found her and took her in to treat her eye. She woke up but only to runaway. She hated humans and men. She was thankful for the treatment but not again would she be with one.
Soon, she found a home to actually called home. Nowadays, she resides in the Gokinu Warehouse known as the
