Moto hissed as Zita bit her paw. She put her ears down, as she looked to Usi. "I ... guess not." She growled at the cub, and looked away. "You pitiful excuse for a Firekin ..." She glared at the young female, her yellow eyes glowing with madness. "I'm sorry, Usi. We could just leave this cub ... be." She now felt bad, for well, acting that way in front of her friend.
"Anyways, I have no reason to bother with such a cub." Her fur rose as she vibrated her vocal cords into another growl. "We came out here to explore the Motoujamii. I told you we should have just avoided the little runt. But, whatever." Usi was the one who wanted to see the cub in the first place! He obviously didn't know that even the cubs had the Firey temper of the typical Firekin. Where did this lion come from, that he couldn't even remember something like that?

Ears falling, he pouted slightly as she reprimanded him, before nodding silently and sending one last fleeting glance at the youth. The world confused him sometimes, and this was yet again the time where it had happened.
"It was...well...it's been exciting...but we need to go...so yeah..." Flashing his fangs, he turned back towards Moto, "Why don't we go and continue on with our walk now...I'm sure she would enjoy being alone." Nodding slightly, he moved a bit closer to nudge her away, indeed feeling bad about his suggestion to check the cub out. He would need to remember to apologize once they moved on.

Despite the adult's words, Zita smiled triumphantly when she landed the bite. It was a twisted sort of grin accopanied by an odd twinkle in her eye. "That's right!" She hissed, her tail lashing back and forth eagerly. "Leave!" Good. S'what they deserved, bugging her like that. Hmph. She brushed a few bits of sand at them, as if it'd get them going faster. Then she settled back on her haunches, ready to be on her own again and without anyone around. Because that was what she liked best.

Moto scowled at the cub, and then padded off following Usi. She spat at the sandy ground beside Zita, still growling in her throat. "Fine then, we'll leave. You little spoiled runt! Have fun out here in the scorching heat all by yourself! You stupid little cub!" She felt like she could go on forever about the comments. She got extremely angry over the little one. She looked down at her paw, with a frown on her maw.
"... that little b***h hurt me." She looked back at the cub, anger still flaring in her eyes.

Still with his head lowered, he glanced to the side to catch sight at her paw. Frowning himself, he looked up through fluffed bangs and murmured a soft, "Moto...I'm sorry for suggesting going over there, I should have listened to you..." Before turning to glance over his shoulder at the cub as well, fleetingly before turning back to look ahead.
Keeping his maw shut after that, he let Moto sputter about, silently punishing himself unconsciously for hurting his new friend. Oh yes, he had a lot of groveling to do before the day was out. It was the least he could do for the stupid mistake he just made.
