bondage bunnie I'v seen your video again im not impressed. Watch the ref can you tell me his arm wasnt up when he had the guy on his shoulder and in full standing? I couldnt say if it was up or down myeslf. Also the guy never locked it out he had no balance to stop the throw. All judo isn't olympic judo either, and the kata garuma was full standing yes but he never locked it or maintined control. As far as Katagaruma goes thats not even technically katagaruma http://judoinfo.com/kataguru.htm . Thats a Katakaruma makikomi if anything because he is tightly wrapped in and continues with the throw attached. I've randori with kosen judo practitioners I wasnt impressed. You don't impress me with your knowledge at all. Your a condesending dicksplash and this is the last time i will ever respond to a thing you say. You say nothing constructive ever. I am also not saying to anyone else that actually matters that kosen isnt good, it is, but one form of judo isnt better than its teachers and practitioners. In essence, I just tooled you, and your response is "THAT'S NOT ******** KATA GURUMA! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO MOVE IN SLOW MOTION IN COMPETITION!" Yeah, okay. Awesome.

bondage bunnie Throws have their uses ^^ Anyone who takes Judo do you compete and whats your favorite throw and why? I like Uchimata because its fast and its the only throw i ever actually get in randori. I also like katagaruma cause its the only way to instantly end the match. throws have their uses but when you are in a fight and try to grapple anyone!!! you wil lose!! they could be stronger than you or have a weapon!! they can groin kick you clap on your ears!!! scream really grapples and trapping have litlle use strikes are the best thing!

seriously, concrete really doesn't taste good. And in a real fight, one of the first things that I've always seen happen is the person starting it wants to get the person they're attacking on the ground, because they think that the victim can't fight on the ground. grappling can help. A lot. It just depends on the situation. But I promise, if you ever get in a real life or death fight, you arn't going to be on your feet the entire time.

I'm surprised bondage bunnie does Judo I thought he'd be turned off by the lack of discipline (disapron), focus (fukus), and control (kuntroll) in Judo.

Wanna learn BJJ, Hapkido, Muay Thai, and a few others. Sadly though, I won't be able to learn them all.

A student at the Karate Dojo I go to does Judo and he's taught me a few moves. Its pretty fun, but I've found that allot of the throws only work if your opponent is waring heavy clothing, so their not that good for self defense. Some of the submissions and ground work work good so I use those.
