Ok I'm going to Naka-Kon 08', which is currently about 6 months from now. I'm going as Lucy, the dress is the one in the last outfit. Once I bring back pictures, I'll post them up and tell you guys about the costume and how many people recongnized me. Someone else going their may be going as Bando, so that'd be funny to get a few posing shots as. Well, I'll update this occasionally. Also I'm entering their art contest, with Elfen Lied art work. Once I finish it I'll scan it up in a couple months. Also there is a place to buy the horns, that are perfect for Nana, Lucy, Nyu, you name it. Yeah, I get to wear a wig!

Ok they're created by a woman who goes by Feral. She does a lot of anime based things, some of her stuff is pricey, but because she makes all of it. The horns are awesome and light weight and they really look like the horns from the series, here's the link:

I did once dress up as Lucy for my school theme day. It was the final outfit Lucy wears (ribbon round the neck, strippy socks, etc). For the hair, I just used a temporary dye. For the clothes, I just borrowed everything I needed from friends or bought it in town. The pink t-shirt, dress, ribbon and shoes were easy to get, but the socks were so hard to find. For the horns, I just borrowed a friends cat-ear headband and it totally worked. I'm just annoyed there are no pics of that day.

Feral's price went WAY up. The last time I saw her on ebay, she was asking like, 15 or so.

For the anime con in October here, I'll be Lucy. I have the wig and horns, but the socks are being a nightmare to find. Are they at Hot Topic, because Sockdreams doesn't seem to have any. D'8

I found ones I was originally gonna use from Hot Topic, but they weren't truly accurate and by pure luck at Target, they had them in the exact color and style.

I had great fun, on the Saturday of the convention, there was another Lucy, and I was like 'pictures!' xD Except I was Ulquiorra at the time and I ended up getting in an arguement with an Ichigo...Bleach fights. heh.

But on the Sunday as grey dress Lucy, I kept getting called Nana. >_< But it was great fun anyways.
