A silent form slipped through the graveyard her coat perfectly suited to the shadows of the place she called home. The charcoal black of her coat and musty coloured white invisable amongst the shadows, only the occasional glimmer of bright sparkling blue from her eyes to give her away. Her tail curled up over her spine as she trotted through the graveyard, this place was her home, it was the place she belonged and certainly she considered herself a very high ranking member of the graveyard pack.
Frittilaria had been amongst the bones since she was young, she and her sister had lived out their youth learning the ways of the bones and obaying it's powerful leader. Slipping up the long back bone of a particularily large bull elephant she clambered up on to the long stripped skull and lay with her paws crossed gazing out from her vantage point over the whole of the graveyard.
The black and white femme sighed lightly, things were rather boreing of late, the tasks she had been given had long since become monotonous, she wanted more out of life than this constant scouting, she just couldn't work out exactly what that something was. Perhaps today would bring a new challange though, perhaps.

Kai's grey form wandered aimlessly around some piles of lions' bones, her silver eyes looking at them and slowly learning their shape and scents. If she was to be a scout here, she'd need to know the body structure and scent of lions, especially those that had invaded the Graveyard before. While her love for lions still remained deep within her, she was slowly putting on an impression of disliking them. She didn't want to offend anyone with her feelings towards them, she she figured it was just best to hide them, for now.
"Hmmm.. Well.. This is getting boring.. Maybe I'll head back up to the elephant skull to see if I can see anything interesting from up there."
Sniffing the bones and taking one more good gander at them, the female hyena turned around and started to head for the skull, very unaware that another female hyena had already taken refuge up there, one whom she had not had the pleasure of meeting yet.

Her charcoal and white back faced the other female hyena as she scaled up the bones but frittilaria had long become accustom to lookingaround when ever a bone creaked in the grave yard. The fact that she was faced with the muzzle of another hyena didn't surprose her, the fact that this hyena was one that she didn't know htough swiftly had her upon her paws. A small, powerful growl echoed from her throat as she sized up the femme before her. Frittilaria had grown up in the graveyard, her body was powerfully built, used to scaleing the bones and finding the best of foods where ever she could. New faces had to be challanged before she would accept them.
"Who are you?" she raised a slim brow and watched the otehr femme wearily, perhaps Mafa had already acceptd this one, but that didn't mean that she couldn't find out all about the femme before her. Rumors were slow to circle the graveyard and new faces appeared all the time, still, she was always weary of new comers.

Kai stopped in an instant as her face came close to that of another hyena, her body backtracking a few steps. She blinked her silver eyes some, swearing to herself that she had not seen her before now. How could she of missed her though? The white on her stood out so much.
"Ummm.. Kailasa. I'm a new scout here. Who are you?"
She tried her best to be friendly, but this hyena looked like she meant business. Hopefully she wouldn't attack or anything.. That could definitely be a bad thing.

"The names Frittilaria, I'm a head scout around here answerable to Mafa herself alone." Her tail flickered and curled up over her spine then, her head held high as she flicked her pale fringe fron her deep dark blue eyes. "New scout hmm? well I guess it's okay for you to be here then." The ebony body shifted then in to a seated possition her head turning away over the graveyard her eyes rolling, she never had any luck. Finding a new face to introduce to Mafa would surely put her in good stead with the packs head.
Still she could make light of the situation any way. Clearing her throat the blue eyes fell once again upon the silvery grey tones of the other femme. "I suppose you'll be looking for someone to show you the graveyard will you?" she snipped her tongue lapping out over her lips as she said it. "Don't know if you'll be able to keep up though, you kind of look like you've grown up on the soft side of it. I'v grown up in here, it's a tough place to live but if mafa thinks you're up for it then I guess I'll have to aggree."

Kailasa smiled some, seeing as how this female had no intention of hurting her or anything like that. That was a good sign, of course. Still though, she couldn't help but to think that there was some hesitation in the female's voice. Maybe it was just her imagination though, as she kept thinking that all the hyenas here would only think of her as weird, and not except. At least not right away.
"Actually, Mafa's mate, Tukutu, I think that's what his name was, gave me permission to join the pack. He said Mafa was away right now, and that he thought it was alright for me join. Of course though, I still want to meet Mafa. It wouldn't be right not to meet the head leader of the pack."
She looked away for a second, the scouting nature in her taking over as she scanned the dusty lands with her silver eyes. After seeing no problems, she looked back to Frittilaria.
"Oh, and I've had Tukutu show me around. He said I would have to learn some things on my own, but as a whole, I know where everything is."
