its so hard these days to tell whats punk and whats not. is it the music, clothes, message or what? some green day fans say they are punk, some say their not. it confuses me so. There's just so many definitions for the word "punk" is this punk?  or perhaps this?  and what about this?  gonk

People just but mainstream because it's easier to get hold of.
Not to mention the music's safer. Why you don't see screaming in the charts.
