"Hmmm.. Alright. That doesn't seem that hard."
The female hyena smiled and her tail wagged a little bit. This looked like it could be a lot of fun, as long as no one got hurt anyway. She got her body in a crouching position and she watched the blue and white hyena carefully, watching how she moved. Hopefully, she could time her jumping just right, and snatch the bone away.
"You ready?"

Bluu chuckled as she eyed the girl, a smirk coming out around her bone toy. Not hard, eh? Well, she'd learn fast.
"Ready when ye are!" She laughed, bouncing on her paws. With a flick of her tail, she darted to the side in a brust of speed, kicking up dust in little puffs behind her. Her white tail wagged excitedly, and she burst out in a loud cackle. Oh yes, this was going to be fun! The blue female didn't get nearly enough play mates, especially since she started spending most of her time here in the graveyard.
It almost seemed odd... the female who was so full of life and happiness, living among the bones and deary scenery.

"I'm ready too!"
Kai followed the blue and white female's movements, bouncing the opposite way that she had, laughing a bit. She had never really gotten into the 'hyena laugh', much unlike her mother, but was still used to it. Still, hearing this female do it every now and then brought back odd memories for her. She would have to worry about those later though.
Now was a time for pure and simple fun.

Bluu shook with laughter as she ran from the younger female, streaking straight for a large pile of bones. It looked like large elephant had collapsed here, then another on top of it, till it was a pile of five or six for a tangle of bones.
She hardly slowed as she hit the first large rib, her stride never breaking as she bounded up the side of the pile. She moved with suprising agility, bouncing from one to another. As an added suprise for the one following her, she burst over the top of the pile and dropped down, but she didn't keep going... instead, she dropped her thick blue body into a hollow just out of sight and tucked herself down as low as she could. With luck, the other would jump right on past and keep going, never knowing she passed her quarry by. When she finally realized, Bluu would have reversed and gone the other direction.

And indeed, Kai did just what Bluu was wanting her to do. Still no quite developed in her senses from when she was a simple rogue loving life, the gray female ran the way that the blue and white female did. She did everything that the larger female did, except for using her brain. As she came down the side of the pile of bones, she continued to run on, her eyes, heart, and mind racing.
However, she eventually came to a stop, looking around in a rather confused manner. "Huh? Wait.. Where did she go?", she questioned with an exhausted huff.

It was a comical sight as Bluu's vividly colored head popped up over the edge of the bone pile, the knuckle clutched between her jaws. Pale eyes sparkled as she giggled to herself, then bounced up to stand on the edge of the hole she'd found.
When Kai came to a stop, Bluu dropped the bone and braced it with a paw as she barked loudly to draw her attention, another sharp cackle splitting the air. She panted and her tongue lolled in amusement, having the absolute time of her life here playing with the younger female. Only when she was sure the other had seen her did she grab up the bone and jump over the top of the pile, working her way down the side the way she had come up.
When her lighter paws hit the dirt, she gathered herself and sprinted for the other side of the little 'clearing', a blue streak as she raced and bounded over the dirt.

Growling a little bit, Kailasa bounded back towards the female, only to have her race off once more. Boy was she fast! Kai would have to make sure to exercise more after this little fiasco, especially if she wanted to be a Graveyard pack member. Her slow speed just wouldn't do.
Racing up, over, and then back down the pile of bones, her silver eyes caught a rather quick sight of the female dashing off in some other direction as soon as her paws touched the ground below. How did she not tire? It was astonishing to the younger female, but she pressed onward, determined to snag that knuckle bone that Bluu carried, dashing off after all.

The energetic female slowed a little to let Kai catch up some, her dash becoming a bouncing lope as she tossed and caught her toy, teasing with the play. She was showing the exertion of the paly, but unlike her young playmate, Bluu was an adult in her prime, hard toned from a life spent traveling and fending for herself. She could travel for a day at a steady trot, sun up to sun down with only a small break or two. Her endurance was what let her travel as her heart wished, and she'd spent the better part of her life perfecting it.
As she reached the pile of bones at the other side, Bluu swerved and loped around it, skirting the mound instead of climbing it as she had before. Now it was a race... Kai had to catch up and over take the older female, and then would come the tough part, wrestling the toy from her. Bluu grinned to herself. Good luck to her, she thought.

Kai swerved this way and swerved the other way. Her paws were still getting used to the rough and rocky terrain of the Graveyard, and already, they were beginning to hurt. That wasn't a good sign, but Kai was also determined to keep going. She'd have time to stop and tend to her paws later on.
Seeing the blue and white hyena clamber to the other side of the pile of bones, the younger gray and white hyena followed her, also swerving around it. However, at Kai's current pace, she didn't think she'd be able to catch her. So, instead, she tried a little trick, only hoping it would work.
Looking from one direction to the other with her silver eyes, she took a great bound at the pile of bones, landing on the side of them, and slightly to the side of her energetic opponent. With a wild smile on her maw, she dashed over to the female, so ever wanting that damned knuckle!

Bluu was taken entirely by suprise when Kai burst into view over a pile of bones, landing nearly on top of her. As the younger female dashed at her, it took the hyena so by suprise that she pulled up short and dropped the bone, skidding a little on her backside.
She recovered in short order, laughing out brightly before she remembered her toy. With a yelp, she looked around frantically for it, hoping Kai hadn't snapped it up while she was distracted. Oh, this was fun! Really, all it took was a little encouragement to get the normally-stuffy hyenas around her to loosen up. Thank the gods, or she'd have been bored stiff in moments.

Instantly, the gray and white female sprinted on over to the dropped knuckle, laughing as if she hadn't laughed in years. With her wild silver eyes keeping track of the bone and her black tipped paws scampering across the rocky ground, Kai was able to quickly fly over and snatch the knuckle piece up! So overjoyed with victory, she pranced all around on the mountain of bones, her head and tail held high.
"I goft it! I goft it!", she mumbled joyously, the knuckle bone still in between her pearly whites.

The blue female came to a stop as she saw Kai snatch up the bone, almost rolling with laughter as she watched her prance around with it between her fangs.
"Good! Good, you did get it. See? Its fun." Cackles rolled from Bluu as she stood panting, her tongue lolling from her mouth. She wasn't too upset that she'd lost the bone... after all, it was just a game and the whole purpose was to have fun doing, not to win all the time.
"I think I'm gonna have to let you have it, though." She chuckled, her sides heaving gently. "You've worn me out. I'm thinking its about time I found me something to eat, too." A smile curved over her face as she wagged her white tail happily, blue eyes sparkling.
"I hope to see you again, Kai... if its alright with you?"

The gray female slowly stopped her prancing, her ears perked towards the older blue female. She nodded her head some, leaning her head down to set the knuckle into the dirt. She looked at it and then back over at Bluu, realizing just how much she had truly had.
"Alright. That game was really fun! Thanks so much for playing with me!" She smiled joyously, taking a minute to breathe some herself. That little game had worn her out some as well, but it had well been worth it. "I hope I meet you again some day, and good luck with finding some prey to snatch up."
Kailasa looked back down and pawed at the knuckle bone, quickly snatching it back up between her teeth. She would take it home with her, so as not to forget the fun time she had had with this strange, yet fun hyena. She chomped on it a bit, starting to feel those hunger pains too, reminding herself to find something eat after Bluu headed on off.

Bluu laughed as she nodded eagerly.
"I'm glad I got you to play with me, Kai. It was more fun than I've had in a while. You have a good day and I'll see you again soon." She chuckled, nodding a fond farewell to the young female.
Turning, she trotted off towards the edges of the graveyard, her nose low to pick up any scents of prey.
