I have finally arrived at my new school, and have only a few things to say about this. First of all, I should probably relate all the events that occurred, in order to keep things in a straight line.
- there is a brief pause, followed by the sound of rustling paper -
I don't remember much of the boat ride, as I was sea sick and spent most of it throwing up over the rails or in the bathroom. I hate boats, and swear I will never set foot on one of them again out of my own free will. Should anyone else say otherwise, then I suppose I have no choice. But, moving along...
- the sound of rustling paper continues -
I followed someone off the boat and towards the area I remember being told I would be debriefed at...but I lost sight of whoever it was and ended up getting lost in the crowd. I was preparing to return to the docks and just stand there looking ridiculous when I was approached and addressed by a man.
- the sound stops and there is silence, followed by a cleared throat -
He introduced himself as Norman Prinwaltz, the school's headmaster. I...think I was a bit taken back by the fact that the headmaster was speaking to me, even if it was out of peer chance, but none the less it was still an interesting event.
He spoke to me of the teachers and how they helped students with their work, as well as how the classes were self-taught in order to allow, in my opinion, some sort of free-reign over scheduling or sorts.
I told Mr. Norman that I was honored to be at his school, and he told me the great ones where those who walked the halls.
- a soft beeping sound is heard in the background, and the sound of movement follows -
All I must say is...the headmaster is a great man. I wish to be like him one day.
- the tape clicks off, but starts again a moment later -
I also have a feeling I'll be getting lost a lot. This place is huge.

[ At the Beach ]

Today I managed to venture away from my room and out towards the beach that seemed to loom about ShinKamis estate. To be honest I've never seen so much water before in my life, and I felt a little uneasy. Or rather, I think I felt a good bit excited.
The ocean isn't like a lake or a pond or anything else I've seen. I can't walk around the ocean.
- there is a pause, followed by an 'oh' -
I met a rather interesting boy while at the beach. It was only a brief encounter and we exchanged only a few words. I think I may have seen him before, once, as his hair and general apperance are something I wouldn't so soon forget. Perhaps I will see him again soon, or catch his name.
....Or pound him into the ground for making fun of me.
......Or just be his friend. I like that last option more.

Once again today I found myself facing a similiar situation, meaning I was lost when I was trying to get somewhere else. I'm pretty sure I jsut need to start carrying a map around with me, but I already look ridiculous enough as it is without having to open a map every ten steps.
- there is a cough -
Anyway, the point of this conversation is to introduce a new accquantice I have made. His name is Ethan Zachery Williams, also known to others as simply 'Zach'. I met him by chance when I was exiting from my classes and proceeded to get myself lost on the school grounds.
Yeah. On the school grounds.
- there is a pause -
He offered to show me the way back towards the dorms, which was my original destination, and in the process we struck up a conversation.
As I've come to find out, he is in the magic division like myself, though I am sure it's for different reasons. He seems to be facianted by the Elven race and I'm sure he may have said he started to take up magic in an effort to get closer to their knowledge.
I told him I took it up because I was wondering the benefits it may have for humans. Or...I can't remember what I told him, which will probably come back to bite me. I can't say too much about myself just yet, as I want people to seek me out for answers. If you tell someone everything about you on the first go they'll lose interest, right?
- there is a yawn and the sound of a chair shifting, followed by a small groan -
Anyway, I'm tired. I've been studying all night for something I don't remember the need to study for..but i digress.
Perhaps one day I'll see Zachery again and we can pull out our plans. The joke is that we're going to find and corner an elf and ask him all the questions that Zachery can think of, plus maybe a few more. I've always wanted to find and kidnap someone, but I'm pretty sure that taking actions like that would result in something rather terrible for myself and him.
So instead we'll ask around. Zach has mentioned a friend named Jaden that may be able to help us, so I'll look forward to that. I hope we can meet again and act out this plan, or even just get together again to talk.
I rather liked him.

I hate this stupid island, and almost everything about it. There are hardly any maps or signs that show you were you're going or even give you advice in the right direction, so instead you end up-
- there is a long pause, followed by the sounds of huffed breathing -
...Let me try this again. In a manner of speaking, one could say I'm having difficulty adjusting to the layout of this new place. I haven't been here very long and can't seem to find my way around anywhere. Well, that's not really true. I can find my way to and from the classroom to the dorms without much effort, same goes for getting to the cafeteria. Anywhere else, however, is pretty much fair game.
I've tried to get to the school library lord knows how many times and each time somehow ended up at the mall...uh...what is it called?
- a thunk sound is made as the player is set down, followed by the sounds of movement as someone looks for something -
'Chikami Mall'. It's called the 'Chikami Mall'. Whenever I try to go find a place that has books I end up there and somehow end up meeting many other people. If I recall correctly it's because I was trying to get to the library and ended up at the mall that I've met all the people I know here.
Thinking back, I'm doing well on the number of students and staff I have met during the short time I've been here. I know my progress is to be expected, if not overly so, so it's not like this should be anything of a shock when I report it later on. Still, I wish there wasn't so much pressure set out so early into the game. I'd like to meet people for the sake of meeting them, no other agendas.
- there is a sigh, the sound of a chair creaking as someone leans back -
Anyway, I'm wondering if they sell decent maps of this island at that mall place. I'll have to remember to bring my wallet along just in case I actually make it there on a first try. If they don't sell any maps, I'll just have to hunt someone down who knows this system like the back of their hand and have them draw me one or perhaps give written instructions from place to place. I can't keep going on wandering around like this until I get my bearings. It's frustrating.
