If single people can have and raise kids- if grandparents, siblings, cousins, and friends can raise you and give you a loving home- then why not give someone a stable, loving, secure two-parent family? Conservatives can be raised by liberals. Gays can be raised by straight parents. Atheists can be raised by religious. Vice-versa is also common. The only thing that children can learn differently from being raised by gay or lesbian parents is tolerance, something everyone needs more of. I am all for allowing adoption by gays or lesbians, maybe it will improve this world of ours. If there is concern that children raised in this environment will be pro-gay, that is saying that gays are good people that anyone would love if they had time to know them. I find no argument against allowing gays to adopt that stands up to logic and comparison.

Yes. There is no good reason for them not to be able to. Just like they should be allowed to marry and have all of the rights -both legally and socially- that straight people have and take for granted every day.

I'm cool with it. I used to be best friends with this kid in middle school that was gay, and his dads were gay. I used to think that if they had gay parents they'd end up gay themselves, but I've seen other gay/lesbian couples with kids that turn out to get married to the opposite gender.

Definitely yes. i mean it doesnt matter who the child has for parents as long as he/she is loved by them. I have a friend who has your typical family with a dad, mom, and a big sister and her family was not...well, a family. She was unhappy because her parents practically didnt care about her. So if parents that bad can have kids, i think gay couples have more privilege in having a child.
