My friend's grandma asked me what i wanted to be when i grew up. I said i was gonna join the military. She says, "Oh... well, um, don't you have to sell your soul to the goverment to enlist in the army?" I'm thinking, "WHOA!!! FMA is a reality! FREAKY!!!"
Then, i told my other friend's father that i wanted to join the miitary. He says, "Remember one thing: once you're in battle, you gotta distance yourself from your emotions." Again, i'm thinking, "WHOA!!! AGAIN!!! FREAKING ME OUT!!!!" So, post your "FMA becomes a reality" experiences here. I'd like to know...

My friend's mom keeps talking about my friend's dad being a 'dog of the military' and how stupid it is to be fighting a stupid war for no reason and how many ppl are being killed for no reason...
remind me and my friend of the islbal (sp?) war...

Hey, I'm a new member of the guild (hence why you've never seen me around) and I just would like to say that I had an FMA-reality experience.
this one time while at my local comic supplier I was short a few dollars for my purchase. The guy knew how badly I wanted my comics, so he payed for me. I was like "A-wha!?!" He looked at me and said "It's something called Equivelent Exchange, my friend told me about it"
Thank God for our good ol FMA

[Well...if you watch the FMA movie then compare it to the time between WWI and WWII you see A LOT of similarites]

I study modern history [don't ask how that works] but it gets ever so confusing during the movie. Cause of all the dates and I'm thinking 'NOOOoooo that's wrong...' Yes I'm a history geek. I know the a-z of weimar and nazi germany [had to study it for nearly 6 years now - now I feel old] stressed
