Have any of you read/heard of this book? Its somewhat of a dieting book, but seems to be more of a lifestyle change.
The book outlines the following plan:
1st 3 weeks- Keep a log of EVERYTHING you eat, and when 1st weekend after- Leek Soup Weekend (You drink a leek soup every 2-3 hours, and eat eat leeks when hungry) The next 3 months- I forgot what this was called in the book, but you identify your "offenders" ( foods that, while you were analysing your food diary, YOU found to be excessive), and trim them down as much as you can, or eliminate them, if possible. After the 3 Months- Reintroduce all foods again, even 'offenders' but in moderation
I thought this seemed like an interesting 'non-diet' book ( thats what it's marketed as)with a sustainable lifestyle change. The only thing I found a little weird is the leek soup weekend, to kick off weight loss.
Its a good book to check out, if you happen to see it at your library
What do you guys think? Healthy lifestyle change? or Unhealthy fad-ish diet?

Seems safe enough smile I'm also a big fan of 1-day fasts though, as I think it's perfectly natural that if you were living as nature intended, there would be days without food, or with very little food. Also, there is religious fasting.
