Erm...Its Horacrux...And i don't think i'd read that xD just because since voldemorts soul (all 7 pieces) of it were destroyed, he'd be dead for good. His coming back also would not coincide with the prophecy, it would make it an incorrect prophecy..."neither can live while the other survives"
Also, if snape was truely willing to risk his life to protect the child of the woman he loved why would he make a horacux? Plus...He's not cowardly enough.
Bella makes a good point, but they might not hate them because if Voldy didn't kill snape and still left him in that room, he could have still given the memories to Harry, and then that would have solved alot of things.
The fact still remains, if Snape made a Horacrux, and harry hermione and ron saw snape die, they wouldn't accept him as headmaster because no one worthy and trustable enough would make one..Also, that wouldn't make sence with the Epilouge...
Making a Horacrux is no light matter. Snape would have had to kill dumbledore and almost immediatly made the thing, which he didn't. Im convinced Snape hadnt killed anyone else before HBP
Sorry for ranting ^^;; Not trying to be rude but that whole storyline wouldn't really work...^^;
You'd have to rewrite most of the books....Also, rowling said she has had enough of the wizarding world, and of Harry.I doubt she will be writing more, muchless with story like that....ALso, she dosn't like it when people take the origonal realms of books and write stories in them, even with different characters.
Debate is healthy, flaming me because of my logic is not ^^;;;
Now, something that would make sence to write would be a prequel, Marauder era Hogwarts (all the marauders, lilly, snape, lucius, narcissa, etc) and the rise of voldemort.
