From Wrestlezone.com:
In a recent interview TNA's Craig Jenkins said that the company plans on holding 96 non-televised events within the next year.

Jenkins also said that iMPACT will be expanded to two hours sometime around September or October. With SpikeTV moving UFC's Ultimate Fighter to Wednesdays, it appears they are clearing room for a long iMPACT.

Yes!! Two hours of TNA, finally we'll get to see some more air time.^__^
Oh, and apparently they're also thinking of getting a women's division belt,
hopefully it won't end up the WWE's.

They definately need two hours to have awesome story lines. It seems like Impact is rushed to get in story line and fights because it's only an hour. I'm glad they are going to two hours!

2 hours! they better have good action matches and not slow ones like WWEs......
and normally a good action will need MORE MATCHES, not LONGER MATCHES.
and if its going to be long, I hope it's GOOD!

in other words, no more HEAVYWEIGHTS and more X DIVISION!

It's good news definitely, overall. But about long matches, as you call them, those matches don't necessarily mean that they're boring or not interesting really. There's a storytelling element that the WWE format of matches follows that I don't get necessarily from TNA, and that goes for some of TNA's PPV matches as well. While I know TNA can deliver a good match, there's something missing in there that I can't quite explain. Maybe it's their lack of organization, but that's expected from a young and growing company such as themselves. But yes, I am interested to see how TNA will make use of their second hour. That X-Division has too much talent to go to waste.

um...but tna WAS great. it WAS great because there are great matches. so far, i notice that they're getting more into the storylines than action. in fact, i see more flashbacks or previews or clips of wrestling going on PPV now than the actual matches itself. heck i think i see more clips bout Pacman Jones comming to tna. i see more of Jim Cornette taking care of wrestlers complaints.

i don't even see GOOD wrestlers that are in the roster wrestle. its the same thing. if they're going to have longer time, they better have more matches and give every wrestler a chance and not go over previews or reviews of what happened or what will happen. i just want to see good matches.

Definitely. With TNA getting two hours soon (hopefully), the product should grow very well. Characters should also get further developed, rather than just being a random cameo in some backstage segments.

I'm going to disagree here a bit, I like the longer matches. It's one of my biggest complaints with the WWE too. You might have some great wrestlers in the match, but they'll only get three minutes to do anything. Nowhere near enough time, IMO.
