Something in Kiji's eyes were different then the first time she had yelled at him, so at her next shoutings, Chakelete was able to remain stable and chill. So his words had somehow effected her? That almost gave him a glimmer of hope, that happiness had to reside in the female! She must have longed for some kind of resolve, but it was still hard to connect when he knew nothing about her past. All he could tell was that something awful had happened to her, and it involved a male.
There was a brief silence between the two for a moment, but Chakelete was watching her with his bright eyes. He thought for a long while what it must have been like, putting many depressed possibilities in his head.
"Are you going to stay angry like this forever, Kiji? Because, then I would feel sorry for you.."
It wasn't like him, to pity others. A part of him wanted to help others, but Kiji obviously had a personal battle going on with herself, and that was only curable by the person in conflict. It was a battle she was going to have to accept or overcome..
"Why would I get your guard down? What would I want to achieve with that?" and then, shaking his head, he only smiled at her, trying to be assuring. "If there really is a bad bone in my body, I just haven't found it yet I suppose. I wouldn't try to search for something like that."

This male was going to slowly drive Kiji insane. He was far too calm, far too pleasant. There HAD to be something wrong with that! Hating that the conversation was focusing on her and her problems, the dog attempted to switch it over. "It's healthy to be angry, y'know!" She kept her snarl, but by this point, her stance had lost all form. Some time between her last yell and Chakelete's second lecture, her tired muscles had given up the fight and flopped ungracefully onto the ground beneath her. Now she lay sort of spread out, with her hind legs pointed at the tree and her front at the male. All that remained of her angry looks were her snarling teeth, which she just simply wasn't going to give up. "Does the wise male have some sob story to back up his perpetual happiness?" She added as much malice to the words as she possibley could.
Twitching her tail, Kiji began to get uncomfortable. "I don't need you to feel sorry for me! I don't even feel sorry for me." She glared at him, certainly not wanting his pity. It was such a sucker punch to her ego. "I don't know what you'd want to acheive, I'm not a male!" She stated it as if there needed to be a 'duh' after it, as if it were complete and total fact that Chakelete had somehow stupidly missed. "I'm sure there's a bad bone if you look for it."

Was she hopeless? Chakelete really had no idea, but he only shook his head calmly before reacting to her last statement.
"Sob story? No actually, I don't. Not everyone has one, you know. Some of us just let little things cheer us up throughout the day, like even though you have yelled at me for a lot of this conversation, I still find it uplifting at the same time. I am thankful to have run into you. Meeting you has made me happy."
Putting an idea into his head, Chakelete then stood up and stretched his body out slowly. He then looked at her, before turning his body away.
"Well obviously I have been nothing to a bother to you, so I am happy to take the hint. Let me know if you find a nasty bone in me, because I certainly won't look for it." And then, before picking up his front leg and walking, "Good luck out there, Kiji."
Slowly moving then, he started to clear away from that comfortable tree. Would Kiji want him to stay? Well, the plan was to see of course!

After hearing everything Chakelete had to say, Kiji dropped her snarl for a few moments, a look of complete shock on her face. There was absolutely no way that this male was sane. He had to be completely bonkers. He was thankful to have met her?! All she had done was yell at him and treat him like trash! Of course, he deserved it. He was a male, after all. It wasn't like she was being cruel without reason here. Either way, she was shocked that he was thankful to have run into her. He was definately on the loony side. After everything that had just happened, how could anyone possibly be happy? That just wasn't normal! Realizing that she had lost the snarl for a few moments, Kiji immediately picked it back up. "Well I'm not happy to have met you!" Even if deep down she didn't mind much, right now her emotions were running wild to the extremes.
"Good bye." She watched him start to walk away and was honestly relieved. Her mind was racing with eveything that had just happened, and was begging for sleep. She needed to recharge more than anything else. That was something she couldn't do with company, so seeing the disappearing image of the male was somewhat comforting. With quite a bit of effort, she lifted herself up and turned around, facing her back to him as her final word on the matter. Within a few moments, Kiji would be fast asleep.

Ah, so it was what she wanted?
Continuing to walk slowly, Chakelete looked around the area, before settling down at a tree in the distance. He also put his head down and closed his eyes for some wonderful sleep. But his mind was not racing like Kiji's was. He was in fact quite content, and wondered what the experience tonight would bring for the future.
"Poor gal.." he then said, as he drifted off into a deep sleep.
