she frowns and sighs.. That went well. She hears a voice though, and leans over the side, looking down at the small boat. "Ahoy, boat, you seem to be in a spot, you want some help..?" she laughs congenially and tosses a rope that was close at hand at the man.

Locking the wheel into its course, she sighed as the other bird flew away. At least she didn't make good on her threat to take the gem by force.
She ran to where the other woman was trying to help the man come in...though not too close. she didn't want the woman stealing her treasures while she was unaware. Tossing another line to secure the boat enough for the traveler to decide what to do, she looked over at the woman. "Keep and eye on the dark water near the rudder. Don' need it catching our boat too or these saviors will be the least of our problems."

She nods curtly and watches the water. The girl was right, dark water on their ship would be the end of everything.

Peyron just watched the proceedings wiht a sad chur. Life was interesting, that it was, but sometimes it wasn't a happy place, so he just fluttered down to Naida's shoulder, clinging softly, tail twining about her arm as he preened at herh air, "Ee oo ee ee ee.... don't worry about the gem... there's twelve more..."

*the gaunt man grabs the rope and quickly climbs up it out of the doomed skiff* Thank you gre.... oh monkey birds... *looks at the human* um thank you greatly for getting me off that blasted ship I was on my way to Jundatown *points to Octopon* is there anyway you can drop me off there?

After a little bit of thinking she decided to head in the dirction of Jundatown, there were some nice forsts on some of the islands close buy, places like that were what she understood better then trying to deal with humans.

"Yeah, yer right Peyron. And we still have the other relics too." she replied, though she was still miffed with the older woman. At least the woman wasn't giving extra lip over the dark water. Otherwise she'd forget about the treasure around the lady's neck and flip her overboard into it!
She looked quizzically in the direction the guy was pointing and then in the exact opposite direction...then back the way he was pointing again. "Ye've a long way to go in that direction... Tha way is Octopon. I need ta make a stop back a' Jundatown though fer supplies, so we can drop ya off there. Good ta have ye aboard. Name's Naya."

She smiles happily and goes to lean on the railing. She was feeling a lot more like herself.. She didn't understand why, but that girl made her want to beat her skull in, but now she was going back to her jolly self..
She 'psst's' at Peyron, trying to get his attention.

She sighs and sends her eyes heavenword.. stupid bird.. "No.. You seriously need to get mingas off the brain.. Come here, and be quiet, you boob..." she takes the medallion off of her neck and holds it out to him. "I think you dropped something.." she smiles at him.

*looks confuzzled and looks behind him and in front of him at both horizons* um... sorry I have a bad time with directions I could tell you how to build just about any ship but I couldn't navigate if my life depended on me

She grinned as she put her fists onto her hips and puffed out a rather flat washboard chest, her blonde hair bobbing on top of her head in the wind. "Tha's no probl'm. Was trained by tha best there ever was at navigatin'. I know these waters like tha back o' my hand. Can't make a ship worth nothin' but can sail 'em anywhere."
