can some one please explain to me in a simple way on how to download skins
for weapons and for the players and their gloves and stuff...it would be greatly appreciated

Go to www.fpsbanana.com and you can download skin/sound/model/anim etc packs from there, among other things. Usually all you have to do is extract the model/animation/materials/etc folders to your cstrike folder, but there's a tutorial on there. Theres different files for most steam games and a few other games ... mostly just games and mods based off HL2, and then theres HL1 games like CS, CSCZ, even gun game and such ... give it a look, its a really great site.
