Do I want to start the thread? Nah! I think Evil Witch-Werewolf should, she seems to be into this more than I am!

Evil W-W, do you want to start the other King Arthur thread? It's OK if you don't, one of us could start it.

The nice part about Arthurian legend is that one can get the different perpectives and such because so little is actually known. While I appreciate the scope and the adventure, etc. of arthur and Camelot, I do not like the characters very much. The men are too arrogant for their own good, and have bad tendencies like lust, rage, etc. On the otherhand, the women are dramatic little weaklings (Lily Maid who drowned herslef over Lancelot) or powerfully evil like Morgan Le Fay. The ones with power and common sense, such as the Lady of the Lake, have roles, but are not highlighted.

JastaElf Evil W-W, do you want to start the other King Arthur thread? It's OK if you don't, one of us could start it. I'm thinking I should send her a PM cuz she hasn't been to the guild in quite some time. Hey hawkie! You know you make a good point about the legend of King Arthur. I never saw it as it actually is! I mean, all that time I didn't really care about taking the time to notice things like that but you are right. IT's too bad that the lady of the lake, being pretty much the coolest character in the story, barely gets enough attention at all.

Yeah, Merlin is pretty cool. He even has his own movie starring Sam Neil as Merlin himself. I thought that movie was the shiznit!
Say, what do you all think about the Lady of the Lake? I keep wondering where she got Excalibur from and how she can't seem to move away from that lake.
