Name: Cael Ionen
Age: 16
Appearance: Of an average size and build, Cael does his best not to stand out. His hair is so light as to appear white, and kept trimmed to his chin, though how neatly is up to the elements. His skin is a soft tan, complimenting his light blue eyes that sit behind reading glasses. His clothing isn't of a particularly high quality, mostly castoffs of fashions gone by, but his odd skill with a needle and thread keep his small closet wearable, if dated. His life in the north has made him very used to drastic temperatures, and he often wears clothing inappropriate for the weather. White markings are found dotted beneath his eyes, permanently; a sign that he had a healing gift in his village.
Background Summary: Born to a northern people who may as well as well be savage compared to the decadence of the Dorhaven nobility, Cael is the first of his family to study in the magician's city. It was only by chance that a foreigner would wander through their settlement, and stumble upon Cael's squandered talents, offering to take him under his wing. Years later, he has adjusted well to the this new mode of living, but is still very self-conscious, and conflicted about where his future lies.
Personality: Passive and attentive, Cael may appear antisocial at first. His silence is not out of shyness, however; despite being a citizen of Dorhaven for over a year now, he is still under-confident when it comes to speaking its language, leaving him flustered and afraid of conversing with other wizards, lest he embarrass himself. Beneath this fear he is a proud soul, studious almost to a point of obsession. He enjoys music and the arts more than he would like to admit, but often feels that he wastes time that isn't spent working or studying. Dorhaven's citizens, and the city itself, are intimidating to him, but also fascinating.
Magic: His magical talent was first discovered in healing, and so it has been his focus of study; it was also the most practical to use back home. Since he was gifted his first dragon, however, he has become more open to other fields-- as well as the idea that he may never leave Dorhaven to return home.
