Baala winced with pain with each assault on her back, growling low in her throat to show her displeasure. Her muscles tightened, she waiting for the moment that he would pause... that would allow her to get up and show him what she was made of. The strikes against her back came to an end, and she almost reeled back to renew the fight between them. But she had self-control, and she would not start the fight up again when she was the weaker party. She just lied there, growling softly, stirring the dirt underneath her nostrils.

Slowly she turned her head to eye him, and as if to show she didn't feel like fighting anymore she lied down on her side, craning her head to begin to lick her wounds clean. Casual strokes of her tongue rid herself of dirt that would otherwise fester and bother the wounds. "You were reaching for my stomach, and sadly I treasure my stomach enough to sacrifice my back. Eventually you would tire, and I would've striked back. Besides, I am not out to kill you, only to teach you... some lesson about respect."

"I think you doubt my stamina. Besides, it seemed more likely I'd hit a vital spot before you could strike back. And I already told you, didn't I? Don't get into a fight if you aren't prepared to kill. That's like wading into the river without being prepared to swim," He sneered. He honestly paid little attention to her words. After all, her body language was clear enough to him. She was defeated.

Decided to share words of wisdom to this poor, unfortunate soul he continued, "Besides, the only real respect can be earned through strength. Strength is the only thing that will get you places in this world."

She chuckled smoothly, acting as if she was indulging a child who knew little of the world. "I think you do not realize that a part of you doesn't want to injure a female. You're a male, though young yet, you'll change. You'll want females in other ways, and you wouldn't strike one like you have striked me." Continuing to like her wounds, she eyed him, examining this young male. There was nothing that reaked of defeat in her demeanor. It was as if nothing had happened, as if they had only played with each other and not fought. "I'll take your words to heart, though. I will not fight unless I mean to kill, and I have no intention of killing you, so I will not fight you."

She raised an eyebrow at him, and it was clear that she disagreed. "Strength is one way to gain respect, but it is not the only way. One can gain respect through intelligence as well, through appearance and ease at which they hold a conversation. One can find reasons to respect another in many ways. Do not be single-minded, it earns little respect from the greatest of lions."

Kaikura pitied this female, even if she was just a girl. Someone had filled her mind with none sense, that was obvious. Was it his job to fix her perspective? No. And he still had no respect for her intellect, so he certainly didn't think she could comprehend the truth. But he decided to offer a little more adivce anyway. "Perhaps, but none of those things matter. When it comes down to the wire, all that matters is being strong and keeping yourself alive. You wouldn't have done so well today in that regard, not that I'm surprised," he said carrying the same self-assured attitude. It didn't seem like any of her words were reaching him.

He spat on the ground, flexing his claws thoughtfully, "As for females...I see no use for them. Commendable of you to try convince me otherwise, though." He stretched his muscles and turned, seeming ready to leave.

Her eyes narrowed as she watched him, her opinions definitely varying greatly from his own. But they had already confronted each other on their differences, and she was still in no mood to fight, not when her wounds were fresh upon her back. She would let them heal, and if she ever met him again, maybe they would sort out their differences again through a fight, one where she would put her all into. He would not come out unharmed, and he would not come out the victor. "I will keep myself alive, through strength and intelligence."

She stood up, walking calmly beside him, intent on having at least a final say, or at least to draw out their meeting a little longer... to give him one final chance to change. "Females have a use. You were born from one." She grinned, but it was almost mean, in a way. "And a female will one day carry your own children. Don't think poorly of them, or you won't have any."

Kaikura actually barked a laugh, seeming to find her comment extremely amusing. It was such a heartfelt tone that it almost ruined the malice her words were supposed to carry. "I suppose you're right. You do have a purpose. Luckily for me," He said with a snakish grin, "I don't want squealing brats." And with that he began to lope off. Bear his children, ha! That would be the day he would go mad. For why would he ever want to be pulled down by a woman and children anyway?

She growled softly in hate of being dismissed to easily. He took not one word she said seriously, and constantly thought that he was the superior when he never would be with the sort of brains he had. Kaikura was built to be a warrior, but nothing more then that. "You have the mind of a child!" She called out to him, teeth bared. "When you grow older you will see that what you want is children, and you'll do anything in your self-minded way to get them! You'll hurt females in a way you never thought you could hurt them! You will be a monster!" She did not know why the anger rose in her again as the male ran off. Maybe she had confidence because he was leaving, because he would not hurt her now that he was nearly gone.
