- okay, I know the Realm is huge with many areas listed. It was originally (from what I can tell) supposed to be separate from Gaia. I know many (myself included) tie this world to Gaia. If this is the case, it would be good to know how this is possible. I know when I first came to Kitsu I was told I could rp other pets & 'myself' here, which is what led to how I personally currently play my kitsu. I need to know how this works, both for myself & to adequately manage RPs I see. For the link to Gaia... well it says in the story a "portal" to the kitsu world opened and they started appearing, so why not a portal of some sort to Gaia? with the way RPs have progressed, the no tech/no magic rule should probably be altered in the RP subforum seeing as how that was ignored before even I came to kitsu
Kitsu sizes:
Sizings are currently not very clear. I'd like to see this fixed. I'm willing to make the visual reference once I have all the sizes clarified. Here's what I have so far.
- Kitsusagi are fox sized when they are kits.
[Fox Measures: ~100cm (39.4”) long including 40cm (15”) tail by ~37cm (1.5”) tall at shoulder (for European Red Fox); weighing (6-)10 -24 pounds depending on size & type.] Kitsusagi are about the size of a golden retriever as adults.
[Golden Retriever size: Males 23-24 inches in height at withers; females 21½-22½ inches. Length from breastbone to point of buttocks slightly greater than height at withers in ratio of 12:11. Weight for dogs 65-75 pounds; bitches 55-65 pounds.] Angelics are larger than Normal Kitsusagi. Nightmares are larger than Angelic Kitsusagi. Seraphim are smaller than Normal Kitsusagi F'ae are smaller than Seraphim Kitsusagi (not 100% sure) Snow are larger than Normal Kitsusagi. Snows are probably larger than Angelics. Unknown in reference to Nightmares, heard once they might be larger. (uncertain) Might be largest kitsu breed Unicorn Kitsu (unknown sizes) Dragon Kitsu (unknown sizes) second largest (after Snow)? Aquatic Kitsu (unknown sizes, though suspect they are the same as normals) MerKitsu (unknown sizes, though suspect they are the same as normals) =may be the same as the Aquatics. Shadowlings (unknown sizes) Anthros (unknown sizes) Dusk Kitsusagi smaller than Normal Kitsusagi; might be about the size of a teen normal, but not any larger. Luck Kitsusagi are a bit smaller than Nightmares, so they are quite a bit bigger than most of the usual species in the Mountain Bobtail Kitsu at adult are between the size of a normal kit and a normal teen Pixie Kitsu adults are about the same size as Bobtails Cherub Kitsu are the smallest of the Kitsusagi, being the size of a small kitsusagi pup when fully grown; unable to breed Lop-earred kitsusagi are about the same size as a normal kitsusagiTrick kitsu are the same size as Snows but don't look it (not as fluffy) (not 100% sure)
I know I put in Mountain only subspecies as well. The reason for this is that it would be nice to have the sizes known even between the sister shops so that RP between them is smoother. This is something I think will benefit both shops.
Random Unfinished Kitsu things:
I don't always know who's job is what. So here are things that I know haven't been finished. I'm only listing some of the older ones, & then only ones I know of.
- Free Perma-kits Christmas 2006 finished certing Candy Perma-kits (winter 2006/07) colored -done! & certed -done! Christmas Roleplay Contest Kitsusagi -I think done? Christmas 2006 guardians Anthro female lines Edward Elric to adult -done! Christmas in July 2006 Items (I don't think this was ever finished) F'ae hatched -some started!! Seraphims to adults listing in thread which colorist is now in charge of higher species breedings -might not be becessary any more though still would be nice.
There might be more. As I said, mainly those I've noticed or remembered. Will probably edit as I find more or see that things get done. 4laugh This is simply to give a basic rundown, maybe some reminders, but also to let those with newer things they're waiting for understand that there are other things the very busy kitsu staff have yet to do.
