Plot summary:
Shantaram is based on Gregory David Roberts' novel, about an Australian heroin addict who escapes from prison and goes into Bombay (Mumbai) under a fake passport and new name, Lindsay (or Lin). He then proceeds to continue his criminal career, earning the name Shantaram.
