Cripes, it seems that they've run out of new and fresh ideas so now they are taking their older animated classics and re-making them into live action movies. eek http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0963966/(Alice in Wonderland is an exception to the rule as it is a Tim Burton film, stars Johnny Depp, and DOES NOT HAVE THAT HACK ACTOR NICHOLAS CAGE IN IT!!)

Can't be worse than the Haunted Mansion movie though, or the Herbie remake with Lindsay Lohan...

And no, I'm afraid Alice in Wonderland is NOT an exception to whatever rule you laid out, as it is also a live action remake of an animated classic, no matter how much better received it may be.

Incidentally, most of the Disney films have been based on books. And yes, The Sorcerer's Apprentice is a book in its own right. We just know the classic clip from Fantasia.

Nicholas Cage has a pattern in his movies He does two s**t films, then one good one. His good one is going to be "Kick-a**" (No really, that's what it's called.) and this looks like one of the two s**t films.
