Regulust Owwin A good villain is one who was once a hero, visionary, priest, or philosopher. Somebody who helped to change the world for the better and had a great following because of it. Something was taken from this hero/heroine in exchange for their greatness though. Either they are wounded and lose their strength or they became jaded and no longer care about the world. That is when the metamorphosis into villain occurs. They already have a following of good people who are mislead instead of just a bunch of bad people. Reg becomes a villain in my series. ;DI am not big on stories where the main character is the villain unless it is a comedy, but I bet it could work. I am actually not even the main character of the story I want to turn into a game someday. I got to create the world and the means of how people have power, my buddy got to be the protagonist.

Another villain is the god of Time; Infinitus.I havnt thought of names for my villains. They are sucky, and look like my main, who is ( dare I say it) The " DEFECTIVE" model. I don't even have any self-insert characters in my stories. Personally, while I enjoy following the good guy around and watching him/her save the world or whatever, it can also be pretty interesting to see everything from the villain's perspective. I like thinking about morality-based questions, and heroes seem to be hit-or-miss about actually bringing up any of these ideas. It's also a chance to see a developed villain; too many villains come across as being evil for the sake of being evil. It's also fun to cheer for the bad guy once in a while.
