Felina nodded her head in agreement "I know what you mean, as my mum can be quite frosty especially when she doesn't really like the person she's talking to. But I think the thing with most people is theres often a whole different side to them that only people close to them know of be it my parents, some actot or even someone like Gilgamesh"
Hayate paused thinking things over "The dog I believe is currently being kept with the palace groundsman. Whats his name now... Anteeme, quite a strange fellow who would try and whack you with his stick if he caught you taking so much as a shuffle onto his lawn" he laughed "For an old guy reaching 2500 he hits pretty hard and can run pretty fast

Oassu snickered "Need to run faster in future Hayate though I really don't get the point of keeping grass so tidy, what fun's a garden if you can't sit down in it by the flowers and everything to relax?" he said "Though yeah would be nice to see your mother on one of her nicer days, would like to see her adopting animals" he said.
Zadina shook his head "No he's not told me many stories about his pilgrimage but I know he had plenty of guardians, more than you have" he said "One of them was an Angel as well so she would have had no trouble climbing up the mountain" he said knowing he could simply use a float spell if magic wasn't forbidden to help "Though we'll build up our strength walking everywhere so I'm sure we'll do a great job! Is there any summons you are really looking forward to getting?" he asked.

Amane paused muttering a small "ooh" sound under her breath at the mention of an angel "Well I suppose the one that I really want to see is the big thunder horsie... I think it's called Ixion and then theres also the phoenix king. It's meant to be even prettier than the normal phoenix with loads of pretty rainbow colours. And magic and flying and stuff counts as cheating so your dads angel guardian would have had to climb up with him"

Hayate laughed shaking his head "Hey the guy is like a hippo. Looks slow as anything but when charging could even outrun a world champion athlete easily. Though apparently some grass only exists to look pretty and some people need to find better hobbies to get themselves more worked up about" he concluded.
Felina smiled guessing that Oassu didn't notice that her mother had given her pet rabbit a good cuddle earlier on "you'll have to start spying on her if you want to see her adopting animals. It rarely turns into anything public unless she's doing it in order to promote some form of charity or some place that runs an animal shelter"

Oassu chuckled "Something she tries to hide from folks?" he asked "Well would make her look cute and stuff I suppose plus everyone would just bring their animals to her as pets to win her favour" he snickered.
Zadina giggled "Yeah I know of Ixion maybe you can ride it once you summon it and talk to him and stuff" he said happily "Still we'll totally go and see those ones so don't you feel bad about your magic it's all super awesome to me" he chirped happily checking the map again.

Amane stood up glancing over at the map "Isn't the journey pretty much a straight line from here? Though I don't think they would let you ride on them as they are big powerful things and might see it as an insult" she asked taking a small step back "Though it would be cool even if they allowed me to. The only thing I got close to proper flying was when mum put me on her back, jumped up to the tops of the trees then as high as she could manage above them" she racalled fondly

Hayate smirked rushing forward to catch his pet as it accidentally rolled off the chair cushion "Careful there little guy you'll hurt yourself. Well then Oassu you know one way to try and win your mother in laws favour if things get desperate before the wedding" he teased safely putting Tuilinn further back in the chair.
Felina gasped checking Tuilinn over for any injury while Cid lay down directly in front of the bird acting as a barrier "He seems ok despite his little ordeal there but we're not buying a pet just to keep mum happy. But apparently queens need to behave in certain way which doesn't involve squealing and cuddling every animal that they come across"

Oassu frowned going over and gently petting Tuilinn who was now kwehing profusely in surprise "And yeah I suppose queens need to behave dignified to set a good example for the rest of the country and so other countries take them seriously," he said "Though I still think an occasional little pet to win some favour with her wouldn't go amiss" he teased.
Zadina nodded "Yeah we're just a straight line though really when you fly in the sky everything is more or less a straight line unless something gets in your way that's why it's so fast" he said smiling "Though that story sounds lovely maybe one day you can fly for real with Bahumut or Valefor sometime" he said happily

Amane paused struggling to remember what Valefor was meant to look like "uhh yesh should be pretty impressive to be seen riding Bahamut. So what would you do if there was a dragon flying straight towards the airship or another ship, just try and steer it out the way and hope they aren't hostile, or mean sky pirates? Sky pirates do exist don't they?"

Felina nodded agreeing with Oassu "Yeah they have to be respectable. Unlike say, the nu nou king who is known for being a little on the crazy side and even built a big fancy cemetery for his dead aquarium which was caused by his attempts at keeping an ochu for a pet" she snickered having met the guy before.
"So buy Alusaadi a rabbit or a hamster or a chocobo egg as a congrats present when she gives birth if you want a quick boost of approval" Hayate chuckled moving over to his chest of draws "And leave that guy alone, he may be totally off his head but I think you'll find a lot of people would be if they had as much money to spend as he has" he pointed out taking a ball out to give to Tuilinn

Oassu snickered "The taxpayers couldn't care much about that sounds kinda funny to me" he said "Though probably would appreciate one of those things though I think she asked Zadina her to get her a chicobo already" he said leaning forward curious to see how the chicobo would play with the ball the same size as him.
Zadina gritted his teeth looking out the windows quickly "Oh pirates where?!" he said flicking his eyes around "Well...." he said making sure there was nothing "I suppose I'd have to use the missiles or something, pirates would probably want to keep the ship intact otherwise they wouldn't be able to loot much but would probably need to swing the ship about to escape" he said hoping it wouldn't happen.

The sky is perfectly clear" she assured him with a yawn "I'm sure if something like that happens then you'll have Captain Alpha to show you how its done. Bet he knows all about that stuff"

Felina shrugged "The tax payers don't really know where there money goes which some might argue is for the best. So long as they see some effort to improve something be it fancier schools or a cleaner street then none of the elves seem to complain anyway"
Hayate laughed throwing the ball at Tuilinn who in turn headbutted straight back "It's only made of foam so it doesn't hurt" he assured them throwing it back and getting the same response from the happy chicobo. "I think she did say something like that to Zadina once though not sure how serious she was or if Zadina would ever want to give one up to her should he stumble across an egg"

Oassu nodded "Well I meant the Nu mou but whatever heh it's cute how he likes to play with that ball" he said taking a turn at throwing it at the chicobo "But who knows I think Zadina likes his aunt enough to give her a chicobo egg" he said.
Zadina blushed embarrassed at how shaken up he'd got "Well of course Captain Alpha wouldn't want his newly redesigned ship damaged after all" he said leaning down to pick up Merric and put him on the dashboard "We're taking you over here Merric" he said pointing to a point on the map beside Merric.

Amane giggled watching Merric kweh confused by the map followed by him placing some of his left over cheese he had pinched from Amane down in front of Zadina thinking thats what ha wanted. "Don't to that silly, you'll get the map wet if not careful. Though I bet Captain Alpha could repair his airship if need be and would be more concerned about keeping you safe and making sure should the ship crash we can all get out safe. Not that I think that will every happen" she quickly added not wanting to make Zadina panic again
